Important to know - not all boxes are the same. This is a subscription that sends variations out.

The packaging is gorgeous and I’ve been reusing the inner boxes for storage.

Oui-Please-January-2017-0007 Oui-Please-January-2017-0008

This magazine is great for finding items you wished you had received! (At least there are swaps!)

Now, onto the items!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0018

La Cocotte Paris Mug - Value $15

Oui-Please-January-2017-0019

This mug 100% bone china and it is microwave and dishwasher safe!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0020

The pink and blue illustration is gorgeous, too. (Plus, I love that it comes in a giftable pink box!)

Oui-Please-January-2017-0049

Les Neredides Paris Bracelet - Value $60

Oui-Please-January-2017-0045

This delicate little bracelet is made with hand-enameled brass and 14k gold-plated brass chains.

Here is a closer look at the detail:

Oui-Please-January-2017-0048

And here it is on:

Oui-Please-January-2017-0046

I love this piece! It suits my preference for delicate jewelry perfectly!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0031

Bastide Soap in Figue D'ete - Value $20

Oui-Please-January-2017-0033

This soap is made with all natural ingredients, including olive oil, so it is extra moisturizing, too.

Oui-Please-January-2017-0037

POP UP Paris Candle - Value $35

Oui-Please-January-2017-0038

I received the scent Mountwalk - a blend of rosemary, peppermint, and vetiver. And the nice bonus about POP UP candles is that 1 in 50 will include a 0.15ct diamond!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0034

FILORGA Time Filler Absolute Wrinkles Correction Cream - FULL SIZE! Value $89

Oui-Please-January-2017-0036

This is made in France, but also sold at Nordstrom, so I'm glad I can easily buy more if fall in love with it! It's a cream designed to hydrate the skin and visibly reduce the appearance of wrinkles.

I love how instantly soft this made my skin feel. It absorbed quickly, too, and it's free of parabens and phthalates!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0043

NUXE Nuxellenxe Detox - FULL SIZE! Value $75

Oui-Please-January-2017-0044

I'm so excited about two full-sized high-quality skin care items in this box! This pump design is pretty slick too, it twists up to display the pump when in use, then twists back to a closed bottle!

The formula is a creamy serum - not oil-based like I was expecting, but it still absorbed quickly and felt great on my skin.

Oui-Please-January-2017-0021

Marie Bouvero L'maour du chocolat - Value $10

This gorgeous package design comes with a blank space on the back so you can gift it:

Oui-Please-January-2017-0022

Oui-Please-January-2017-0023

This bar *might* contain milk or gluten, so I skipped sampling, but it was a hit with everyone who loves dark chocolate.

Oui-Please-January-2017-0024

Oui-Please-January-2017-0025

Christophe Robin Cleansing Purifying Scrub with Sea Salt - 40 ml Value $8.40

I'm excited to see this brand in the box (twice!) This is a cleansing shampoo with a salt scrub designed to help purify your scalp from any product build up.

Oui-Please-January-2017-0027

This sample got my scalp super clean, and there's enough left in the jar for another treatment in a week!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0028

Christophe Robin Regenerating Mask with Rare Prickly Pear Seed Oil – 1.7 oz, value: $14.50

This mask did a fabulous job of hydrating my hair and it was quick and easy to use, too. (After shampooing, massage this in from roots to tips, slowly add water to lather, and then let it sit for 2-3 minutes.)

Oui-Please-January-2017-0030

One word of caution with the fragrance, though. If you don’t like the scent, don’t use this thinking it will wash out when you rinse. The scent stayed with me til my next shower!

Oui-Please-January-2017-0041

David Jourquin Cuir Tabac Perfume - 5 ml Value $15

Oui-Please-January-2017-0042

This is the fanciest perfume sample packaging I've seen, but the scent just wasn't for me!

Verdict: This box has an estimated retail value of $332. (I'm using Oui Please provided retail values for some of that estimate.) I signed up with a discount for an annual subscription, so this box only cost me about $76. I think that value is amazing, and I love the types of items Oui Please sends. (If you like delicate jewelry like I do, I think this box will be a good fit for you!)

I’ve been practically losing sleep over how badly I’ve been wanting to try this box. So I finally just caved in and signed up for a year. I hope they have or are trying to resolve all their customer service/shipping issues I’ve been reading about. I just couldn’t resist anymore. LOL

Aggie

Can someone help me understand when they ship? It says every other month, but 2.6 isn’t shipping until April?! If I have an annual would I actually get 6 shipments?

Rosemary

I sooooooooo want that squishy fish bracelet. Dang!

Am I the only one still waiting for a tracking number? They send me one but it was linked to an USA address… while I live in Canada. 🤔
I emailed them but haven’t got any response.
Seems like the October –end of December, in my case– box nightmare is repeating itself!

Hi Josephine,
I just moved back to Canada so I haven’t been getting boxes really. I was getting Oui please when I was in the USA.
I was thinking of joining up again, but I’m curious about how much the duties and fees are on this Box. Do you pay a huge fee for your box?

Reply ButtonReply

Josephine

Welcome back ! 🇨🇦
Unfortunately, yes, it is quite an expensive duty and shipping fee (around 55$ CND per box). Although this is a one a kind subscription box, I wouldn’t recommend it. The variations items makes it so irritating when you get an less then average box while seeing ecstatic reviews for a “wow” box… The customer service is very inconsistent and the delays are awful. I’ve received my October box at the end of December and my December box in mid-February — after so many emails and weeks at time without an answer from them. I know a few canadians on the forum who had similar problems.
Basically (and sadly), unless they improve drastically the customer experience, I would skip it.
For approximately the same amount, you can get Luxor box, which is very nice and always give an A1 service. Hope that helps!

Rosemary

Damn it! I just caved in today. I am totally loving the luxe subs that I have right now…even if everything isn’t exactly my style.

I really like my box and same as Liz’s except received the other mug version which is pretty cute. Since the next box is the last box of my annual I hope I finally get one of the special items as they originally mentioned should happen at least once. Signed up for my third annual as OuiPlease one of my favorite boxes.

I have to say I was very happy with this months box! However, I’d love to see more home items next time 🙂

Awww I do drool over all these types of boxes… I could never pay for a year up front….to bad they didnt do Valentine box…. But those of you who do recieve it I hope your enjoying it because its looks amazing.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

Beth L–they do have a Valentine box and it has many of the same items, I think.

Liz

I loved this box! I didn’t care for the perfume, and it would have been cool if they did another accessory (maybe something wintery like a scarf or a hat) instead of the two skincare items. But I’m still very happy with what I received!! I think it’s pretty universally appealing. Good job, Oui Please!

If anyone has a box similar to this one and does not want it please let me know as I will purchase it from you! The first time I feel I missed out on something I really like each item!

Reply ButtonReply

TeresaH

Hi Dawn, if you are still looking to purchase a full box, I have one. The jewelry and mug are different than what Liz got, however.

Reply ButtonReply

Dawn S

I am still interested! Please let me know how to contact you so we can chat more about it!

MariaNG

I smiled at the ” shipping: US”. Given all the issues we Canadian subscribers are having with receiving our boxes, maybe that’s an accurate description!

I love love love this box. I got what Liz got, but with the Stella Mai jewelry variation (I think it may be lower value but is WAY more my style anyway). I love the high value skincare products, both of which I can and will use religiously until they’re gone 🙂 The soap, chocolate, candle, and mug make the rest of the box feel like a thoughtful, luxurious gift. I never am a fan of hair products or perfume, but I am so thrilled with everything else that I don’t mind.

ME

I adore this subscription and can’t wait until my box arrives on Monday (hopefully earlier). I bought the Christophe Robin scrub last year and really like it – I have thin hair so it really does work for everyone.

Briar

Is there a coupon for this box?

Reply ButtonReply

Briar

Do they have any coupons for this box going on right now?

Reply ButtonReply

elle

I was looking forward to starting this box, but i thought it was really heavy in skincare/hair wishing for more jewelry/home/lifestyle. I get enough beauty stuff.

Reply ButtonReply

carey

Liz, didn’t this box have a guaranteed value of OVER $350? Kinda surprising to see that even the box that was sent to you is lacking in RV promised.

I understand the hair products have an incorrect RV in the booklet but the perfume does as well? In the past those sample vials have been listed at $15… Just do not want to short change anyone I swap with.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Hm, sorry, I’m guessing it would be fairer to use the booklet price for the perfume since it comes with its own perfume sample bag packaging. I’ll update the pricing of the review. Sorry about that!

Reply ButtonReply

carey

Also, is the pop up candle $25 or $35?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Oops! I’m sorry that should be $35. Thank you for catching that. Updating now!

This was my first OuiPlease box, and I am in LOVE with this subscription. I love every single item I received. I mean, it’s almost like it was curated especially for me.

I also received the Joe Sews pouch, which I adore.

The customer service has been fantastic for me, too.

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

What has been the experience people have with some people getting all of these items plus an entire extra item? (ie the Joe Sews pouch.) That seems like more than a variation item, it seems like an entire extra item and a large one at that. Also, did just reviewers get the featured skyline mug and everyone else get a chicken version? There sure are a lot of chickens up for trade on the site…

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

I just got my first box today and am so pleased! I got the skyline mug as well. My box appears to be exactly the same as Liz’s and everything seems high quality! I did not get a clutch or pouch like some people say they received but I am still very pleased with all of the other items. 😊

...

My experience is that sometimes I get lucky and sometimes I don’t. It’s true that some people do receive an extra item in addition to everything else another person got, or multiple great items as their variations. I wasn’t lucky this time around, but I’ve gotten some of the coveted items in the past. I will say that out of probably half a dozen boxes by now, I’ve never received any type of clutch, bag, pouch, etc.

I’ve seen non-reviewers get the skyline mug. Boxes are still shipping and there may be more skyline mugs in later boxes.

Lauren

Did you get the Joe Sews pouch as well as everything pictured here?

Reply ButtonReply

Erica T

I got a Joe Sews pouch and a different jewelry brand.

MaryJane

The Christophe shampoo is NOT moisturizing. It has salt which sucks the moisture out of your hair. My hair felt so dry after using it even after using a conditioner.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

You are right! Sorry – I think I meant to write purifying. Totally my bad – I updated it. Thank you!

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

It does not say that it is moisturizing. It says it is purifying.

Reply ButtonReply

MaryJane

I know it doesn’t, but Liz had stated in her original review (and has since changed it) that it was a moisturizing shampoo.

Lindsay

It’s a cleansing shampoo- it isn’t meant to be used every day/meant to be moisturizing. I have the full size and love it -I use it once a week or every other week.

Reply ButtonReply

Kate

I know I love it too! I use it about once a week and I have absolutely no problems with my scalp at all anymore.

MaryJane

I have an oily scalp and it’s the worst anti-residue/clarifying shampoo. I have the full size as well and now I use it to exfoliate my feet. 😆

Janet

This was my first Oui Please box, and I’m very happy with it! I got exactly the same items Liz got…BUT in addition to all that, I ~also~ got the Joe Sews pouch that is listed in the OP magazine. Of course I’m thrilled I got it…but definitely think that’s a pretty big ($50) difference in retail value between boxes. I’ve been following reviews of the box for awhile and knew going in that there are typically pretty big RV differences, and realize that while I came out on the upside this time, next time I’ll likely get the lower value box. My only complaint is that the Filorga Time Filler I received lists a date of 1/2017 on the box! I’m assuming that’s the use-by date. I mentioned this on the forum and was told that apparently someone else reached out to OP and Filorga about this and was told that in spite of the date, the product will be good for another 12 months. Still…I would have been happier if the date was a little later, especially since this is the highest-value item in the box! I was considering putting it up on the swap site, but don’t feel comfortable doing so given the current use-by date…so I guess I’ll open it up and get busy wrinkle-busting! 😉

Reply ButtonReply

ColleenT.

It;s an expensive box. I wouldn’t be very happy with that answer.

Reply ButtonReply

Janet

Actually, I contacted customer service about the expiration issue. They got back to me right away, and said that a very small number of the Filorga products were mistakenly sent out by the company, having the 1/17 expiration. They said Filorga will be shipping out a new, current product to me in the morning. So that’s good!
