This month's package is overflowing with really useful items! I actually just ran out of makeup remover wipes, so these are much appreciated.

Bracelet - Value $12?

What a pretty bracelet! It's not something I would normally pick out for myself, but it's just so festive! I really like all the vibrant colors.

I also received a coupon for Hello Fresh.

Verdict: I am really enjoying my subscription to Peaches and Petals! This month's package included many utilitarian necessities, and I really like the socks and bracelet a lot. This month's value comes to about $47, which is a little low for Peaches & Petals, but still good for a $20 box. I think Peaches and Petals is a really great way to treat yourself to a lifestyle box on a budget.

Why are people still buying or reviewing this box?

The socks are $1-2 at Walgreens. Same brand and everything.

I subscribed to this box twice. While the items I received were cute and the same as the reviews it was hard to justify the $20. I found this box was so hit and miss that it wasn’t worth the money. The customer service was good, however, and I had no problem canceling the sub. I would sub again if the box was more consistent.

I love that you guys post so much information on subs and I’m a fan but every month when I see you review this box favorably it seems so disingenuous that I have a hard time trusting any reviews on this site. It’s clearly a box of clearance lots. I guess having someone pick through Ollies Discount Warehouse for you is a service but let’s not pretend the value is more than $10.

One more for agreement. I did this box once and never again. Please MSA, we value honesty… and this is the top reason that I now look at the comment field over the actual review. We all know this box is BS so please stop making me not care about the reviews. Just be real.

Well said, I agree 100% I have subscribed to many boxes in the past, but Peaches and Petals was by far the worst in my experience. Clearly the bloggers who are reviewing boxes are sent a better caliber of box to review than what I ever received.

charlie

agreed. this box is a sham. can’t believe people are wasting their money.

Melissa

I love how Anna posts that she’s enjoying her subscription, and then all these people come on here and crap on the box. 🙄

The items themselves are OK, and Anna’s review is detailed and helpful as always. The problem is the discrepancy between the box description (fun, flirty and fashionable vintage-modern lifestyle) and the contents (obvious job lot items that have nothing to do with that description). I think that people are seeing these products, looking at the description, and wondering why no one is pointing this out.

This company does a lot of job lot boxes, so why not just capitalize on that? If it was called “The Flea Circus” with the description “Bringing the flea market to your doorstep every month,” I’ll bet people would be thrilled with this, me included. At the very least, they should ditch “vintage-modern lifestyle,” which sounds like something out of an Ikea catalog!

Amy

YES!! You hit the nail on the head right there. THAT is the problem with this box…the description does not match what they ship out every month. If they marketed the box with a better descriptive of what you should actually expect to receive, I know I would have been much happier. Describing it as “flirty” and “vintage-modern” is pretty far off the mark for the bulk of what they send out. Also, I have to again mention that their customer service is pretty lax. That just added to my frustration. If I am already disappointed with my box, and then at least try to remedy the fact that a couple of the items arrived broken or defective, it makes me more frustrated when customer service does not seem to care or bother to respond. If this box were marketed and executed better, it could have the potential to be really fun.

TheTinTiara

I was getting this box but let it go because it always seemed like a box of Big Lots and Dollar Store leftovers. Even these wipes are listed at $7+ …ridiculous for a single pack of wipes and I google them and find a page of reviews saying that they are good wipes…for the $1 that was paid at big lots and $5 and under….

It looks like this box is a sister company of mystery box of awesome, 13deals.com, and pet treater. (Yes it’s a close out deal type company) That being said…I really do enjoy pet treater!

Wendy

I was interested from the description but see nothing fun, flirty, or vintage inspired….I’ll pass.

They sell this exact same stuff at a chain of stores where I live called 5 Below. They sell every item shown for $2 – $4.

Reply ButtonReply

tam

I have saw a 5 Below store but didn’t get a chance to go in. Next I’m in the area I will have to check it out.

I am always in need of sticky notes and water bottles. I cancelled my sub to P&P months ago but the boxes seem better than the ones that I ever received.

Katie

If you like the Dollar tree you will love 5 below. They have weekly deals in wheel barrows at the front of the store that are usually brand-name.

Jennifer

I was trying to sign up and their checkout said it doesnt recognize the code PEACHWATCH for the free watch meantioned above.

I feel like they must send you extra-good boxes because they know yours will be reviewed online. I have had nothing but disappointment with this subscription and finally had to cancel. From receiving broken items, to boxes showing up much later than they should have, to inferior packaging and no descriptive cards, this was a no-go for me after a few months. I wish the boxes they sent you guys to review were actually representative of what they are sending to everyone else. I literally felt like I got a box of broken junk the last time I received a box, and contacting customer service was like sending an email into a void. Unresponsive. I felt like this was a major waste of money. I would not recommend this box, unless you enjoy wasting money.

My bracelet looked nothing like the one they are showing. It was a string of beads that I guess you wrap around your wrist a few times to make a bracelet. Definitely a $1 item. My socks came with color bleeding on them and everything else was ok. I will never purchase or recommend this subscription box to anyone.

Emily

My bracelet says ‘grandma’ on it. I’m ok with this being a box of leftover junk as I do enjoy the useful items but come on. This box skews young so I doubt many subscribers are mom’s let alone grandmas.

That is hilarious! I would have died laughing. They could really put in an ounce of effort with the curation…all this stuff seems so random!
