I do love that she's sporting the sword!

Verdict: This month was packed with smaller items and seemed geared towards a younger audience. That being said, I can see how a Pokemon fan could appreciate the little things even if they were a little older than the age range. Since I'm not a Pokemon player, this month was a miss for me personally.

As someone who started with Pokemon Red and is now on Pokemon Moon, I thought there were some great items in the box. My favorites were the cards, Ivysaur, and definitely the throw. I just wish that we got like a plush or second figure instead of the party supplies or Yokai, those were kind of weird for me too. I did love that the cards seemed to be the same as the cards I would anxiously wait for as a ten or eleven year old. I was really into Pokemon since before the big wave in the UK, but yeah…there were some odd picks. I did get a Gremlins Dorbz though so that was a great addition

Now as an avid Pokemon Go player, I’d be thrilled with this theme! But, that said, the dog tags and party supplies were for 5 yr olds – not collectors! There is so much more they could have done like socks, beanie hats, pins, etc. This box would have been a meh for even me!
