This month, the theme was Snuggle up with Pumpkin. The Pumpkin Batch always includes a one-page sheet explaining the items and the theme for the month.
Ticket Pumpkin Spice Hot Chocolate - Value $5.00
This hot chocolate is flavored with pumpkin pie spices and crafted with Belgium chocolate. I think the price tag is a bit steep but it was really delicious stirred into some steamed milk and espresso!
The Scrub Bar Pumpkin Spice Bath Bomb - Value $8.00
This bath bomb smells exactly like pumpkin spice - it's a bit odd to tell you the truth. I haven't used it yet because I can't imagine sitting in a bathtub full of pumpkin spice (I also haven't had the time to take a bath). I like pumpkin spice...but I'm not sure if I like it that much! I did try out a piece of it in a sink full of water and it fizzed quite a bit (as it should) and scented the air with all those yummy spices.
Cooking with Pumpkin: Recipes that go beyond the pie - by Averie Sunshine, by Averie Sunshine - Value $12.20 on Amazon (retail price $16.95)
This cookbook is full of pumpkin recipes - both savory and sweet. It is from the author of the blog Averie Cooks, and so many of the recipes look delicious!
This vegan pumpkin bread with cinnamon sugar streusel caught my eye, along with the pumpkin macaroni and cheese! I'm excited to try some of these recipes out.
Primitives by Kathy Pumpkin Ornament - Value $9.20
This ornament is really pretty in person. It has such a pretty finish on the outside and is a really nice size. The Pumpkin Batch made sure to wrap it up securely and it arrived in perfect shape! I will tuck this away until fall next year and use it on my mantle!
Verdict: This month of The Pumpkin Batch has a value of $34.40 and came with a nice variety of items. I think the cookbook is my favorite - I plan to try out quite a few of the recipes in the next few months. The hot chocolate was a nice treat, and the ornament and bath bomb will be put to good use! I might just split that bath bomb into two uses and mix it with some lighter scented products to enjoy it!
