I love the delicate chains and enamel detail! The only issue I have is that I received a silver necklace instead of my preference of gold this month. All other months have been issue-free, so I'm assuming this is a one-time mistake, and I'm going to reach out to Emma & Chloe to get the gold version instead.

Verdict: I think this is a fab jewelry subscription! It's quality over quantity, and this piece is definitely impressive, and something I feel good paying $35 for. Plus I love that they let you specify - I think that really helps cut out the risk of this subscription.

And the packaging and presentation of this subscription box are amazing. This definitely qualifies as a gift to yourself - it was so fun to unbox!

Honestly, this sub used to be great in the old days. I made the mistake of looking at old boxes and being so impressed that I subscribed. I’ve been very disappointed in the low quality of the jewelry, and after seeing what’s coming in March on instagram, I cancelled. Hopefully I won’t receive March. I figure, if there’s something I like, I’ll just order it from the website for an additional 10 bucks. It’s a lot better than spending money every month for jewelry that, in all honesty, isn’t that nice.

Not easy to cancel either I had to email several times before they finally cancelled sometimes the jewelry was good, other times not so good but the packaging was spectacular I just wish you could opt to choose month to month what you wanted to buy as you would have to okay return shipping

Unfortunately I haven’t had a good experience with this box and had to cancel this month. Even though my preferences say gold in my profile, I have received silver pieces for the past two months. Last month they made it right by sending me a gold piece. This month, they asked me to send them the silver piece before sending me a replacement and did not provide me a pre-paid label so the shipping would be at my cost. I’m canceling because they can’t seem to get the preferences straightened out and it’s not fun for me to deal with it every month. Also they have taken up to 8 or 9 days to reply to my customer service requests.

I also have not had a great customer service experience and have cancelled as well. It’s a shame as there jewelry is most of the time up my ally.

A representative from Emma & Chloe mentioned in the MSA comments section of the January box review that orders placed in January would receive the February box. This turned out to not be true, as they decided to change their model at the end of January. After a few e-mails, they offered to send the February box once they receive a returned January box. The shipping would be reimbursed, but no pre-paid label. It just seems like a lot of time and effort that simply is not worth it. They also did not cancel my subscription in time, even thought they said they did.

Customer service does improve over time, but until it does, it’s a pass for me. I do have hope for the future though.

I would trade with you Liz – I have a gold coming in a swap and would love the silver ❤

Wow maybe I should have read the post before asking that question lol

Can you specify gold or silver? I only want gold so I don’t want to sign up and get silver pieces half of the time. I wouldn’t wear it and would’t bother wasting my money just to swap it. Love the styles though.

Leah

I have mine up for swap if anyone is interested (just click on my name to get to my profile). I don’t like turquoise, so this doesn’t work for me.

Liz, is there usually spoilers early enough to switch your preferences before they ship? I like both but I have serious case of FOMO.

Jennifer

They ship on the 10th, 20th and the end of the month. There are always spoilers by thenvtoo. They never run out. If you decide to buy a past box there are usually 10-$15 dollar coupons floating around.
