MistoBox is a coffee subscription box that sends 12 oz. bags of coffee that are selected just for you.
When you sign up for a subscription, you let MistoBox know what type of coffee you’d like to receive and how often you’d like to receive it. They then pair you up with a “coffee curator” who learns your preferences and picks coffee to suit your taste and budget.
Here’s a screenshot of my preferences. I’ve opted to receive lightly roasted deluxe blends and single origin coffees once every 4 weeks. Keep in mind that the coffee I receive is picked for me based on my personal preferences— your shipment might be totally different!
If you don’t enjoy a coffee you receive, MistoBox will replace it for free.
This box was sent to us at no cost for review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Information about my coffee pick for this month came printed on a sticker on the inside of the box.
Passion House Coffee Roasters Guatemala Finca Jazmin (12 oz.) - Value $16
I’ve been subscribing to MistoBox for quite a few months now, and every single month up until now has introduced me to a new roaster. This month, however, I received coffee from a roaster I know and really like, Passion House Coffee Roasters! (I love being introduced to new roasters, but I’m really ticked to see something familiar this month!)
The beans are from the Huehuetenango growing region of Guatemala, and they’re fully washed.
The bag is printed with a roast date. (I love when roasters print a roast date on the packaging. It’s great knowing how fresh the beans are!
The beans have a light medium roast, and they smell incredible. These beans are definitely fresh!
In the cup, this coffee is clean, balanced, and just plain yummy. The flavor is nutty and chocolatey, and there’s something about this coffee that’s super satisfying. There’s a lot of flavor, but it’s very accessible (nothing too sour or acidic here). This is exactly the kind of coffee I like to drink first thing in the morning. Yum!
Verdict: My MistoBox curator has been on a roll lately! I love received coffees that are hand picked for me based on my profile and feedback, and every single coffee I’ve received in the last several months has been a perfect fit for me. Hooray! In terms of value, I paid $18.99 and I received $16 worth of coffee. Considering the level of personalized curation and the fact that I’d need to pay shipping if I ordered this coffee myself, I’m very happy with the value.
