This is a no-frills subscription. You'll be getting the amount of POPs of your choice in a plain brown box.

Here's a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:

The first thing you'll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don't receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.

piab-1

You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark 'Add to my Collection' for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don't want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you're really interested in that specific POP.

piab-2

There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven't even gone through all of them, but in the end, you'll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.

OK - Time for this month's POP haul!

Alien Queen 6" POP

Let's start BIG! Each month, you have a chance to pull a super-sized/limited edition POP - the more POPs you subscribe to receive each month, the better your chances.

This is the second time I've pulled a super-sized POP!

Pop-In-A-Box-February-2017-0006

This 6" Alien Queen is super detailed - and pretty menacing looking in POP form, so I think they did an amazing job with the sculpt.

Pop-In-A-Box-February-2017-0007

I feel like I just have to get Ripley now!

Pop-In-A-Box-February-2017-0008

Rush

The next POP I receive was Mega Man's trusty companion - Rush.

Rush is now my second POP in this line - only Proto and Mega Man to go!

Jesse Custer POP

Yes! I'm starting to round out my Preacher collection as well.

The first season of Preacher was great - I thought it meshed well with what the comics were portraying, so I'm excited for the second season - whenever that is.

Sulu

I've owned Star Trek Beyond since November and have not found time to watch it yet - I know I'm going to love it because I really enjoyed the first two, so I'm happy to start rounding out this collection as well.

I only need Scotty and I'll be all set - I'm a sucker for completing collections.

Dug

UP was such a fantastic movie - and everyone remembers this scene:

SQUIRREL!

The Dug POP was a later release to the pre-existing UP POP line. I love the 'Cone of Shame' variant!

Pop-In-A-Box-February-2017-0020

Felicity Smoak

The last POP of the month is from Arrow - it's Felicity!

Arrow is one of those shows that I enjoy - but the number of episodes season makes it a bit grueling for me to catch up on - the same goes for Flash, Agents of Shield, and Gotham. It's definitely still on my watchlist, though, since I loved season 2.

Verdict: I couldn't have been more excited to pull a super-sized POP this month - it'd be a great perk if they could offer it more often - even as just a perk for long-time subscribers or first-time subscribers. Overall, as someone who likes completing collections, this subscription speaks my language and that's why I keep subscribing.

Wish I had read these comments before I tried to sign up. Fortunately, I avoided this headache because I was never able to sign up because both times I tried they cancelled my orders because it flagged their security for some reason. Funko needs to come out with their own subscription service so people can get a subscription from a reputable source.

Yikes! This sounds like an awful scary sub to deal with. They won’t be around long with those kinds of shenanigans

I would would severely caution anybody from subscribing to this service.

I have been sent pops I did not request.

They have poor CS response, and then when you do get them, you are outside the window to return.

If you do try to return, you would pay more to ship it back than the items are worth.

I’ve had to cancel multiple times to get the cancelation from this “service” to take. This resulted me getting more pops that I didn’t want (i don’t even know what fandom they were found).

I would never recommend this subscription box.

We had to cancel our sub. They accidentally signed us up for the $200 subscription when they were changing things around on their website. After we asked for a refund, they again charged us $200 instead of refunding and sent us 32 pops. They finally sent a return slip and stated we could not get refunded until we sent them back, but the labels were not pre paid so we were supposed to pay almost $100 to send them back when we didn’t order them to begin with. Also our account was now in the whole and they still have not refunded us or paid for shipping. Very disappointed in this service.

That is horrible and a straight up Scam! Did you try calling your credit card company? After reading all the bad experiences that non bloggers have been having with this company I will never subscribed to them!

Yes we blocked them from charging us again. It’s been a big headache

I’ve been in the MidWest too long. I saw “pop in a box” and clicked thinking this was a sub with different sodas! HA!

We had to stop our Pop in a Box subscription. Every month we had issues with receiving ours and buying from them was such a nightmare that we didn’t want to support them anymore. I’ll live vicariously through your posts from now on!!

I also have had nothing but problems! I Subscribed in late Nov. for a December pop and canceled shortly after (It was just meant to be a Christmas present from my husband), definitely well before the next charging period. Well I noticed in early January that I had been charged again, which wasn’t a huge deal, but I was worried because it didn’t show a charge or shipment for January on my account at all. I wrote into them and was told that a box had been shipped out on the 5th and that my account was not active (never once acknowledging they had messed up and accidently charged me). I waited and waited and didn’t receive anything. I wrote into them on January 28th describing the situation and that I hadn’t received anything, they said it was still on its way and I should get it by Feb.03 (still didn’t say anything on my account about a second shipment). Well I’m sure you can guess that the 3rd rolled around and still nothing, wrote back in and they just asked if I wanted a replacement (for the pop I didn’t order to begin with) or a refund, I chose refund. I’m assuming there was never a shipment sent in the first place, considering it wasn’t any where on my account, and they had mis-charged me. If I hadn’t looked at my account I wouldn’t have even known they took the $15, and was never offered any compensation. Will never order from them again, that’s for sure.

Oh no! What issues did you have?

No consistency. We’d get charged for the month and then wait anywhere from 5 days to almost 30 days before our pop would arrive (we only did the 1 a month plan). We would email customer service and their only (canned) response was that they do not supply tracking numbers so they could not tell us when to expect our pop. Each month was a different amount of time between charging our card and receiving the pop.

Not to mention the black friday disaster of purchasing from them, when only 4 pops out of 14 purchased showed up. Overall their customer service was pretty horrendous.
