An info card was included in my box. This month's theme is "A Pawty for Two", which is obviously a nod to Valentine's Day even though I received the box after the holiday. The back of the info card is addressed to my dog, Oliver, and details each item we received. It also provides a preview of next month's theme.
Lots of Licks Peanut Butter Bites - Value $7.99
The treats this month are peanut butter flavored for larger dogs and cranberry flavored for smaller dogs. They are grain-free and made in the USA with recognizable ingredients like eggs, coconut flour, peanut butter, and extra virgin oil.
The cute heart-shaped treats are pretty odorless, so Oliver didn't really notice them in the box until I offered him one. He gladly accepted it and seemed to enjoy a second...and third treat. They are hard but break apart easily (which for us is a good thing, as we try to portion control!).
SunFlower Freckles Dog Tie - Value $12
I chuckled as soon as I saw this cotton tie - it's adorable! The heart pattern is perfect for this month's theme and I like that Surprise Pawty included an Etsy seller again this month. I was not able to find this pattern on SunFlower Freckles site, so I linked to a similar tie.
The tie measures about 9" in length and there's a loop at the top that you slide your dog's collar in. So clever and well-constructed!
Oliver is a large breed, but on the shorter side, so the tie nearly hits the ground. However, I think he looks very handsome!
FouFou Love Emoji Ball - Value $10.97
The first of two toys we received is this emoji ball. It measures 3" in diameter and is made from yellow mesh on the outside and a flexible rubber ball on the inside. There is also an impressive squeaker and of course, cute emoji embroidery. It feels very durable and I like that it will float in water.
ZippyPaws Heart 'n Bears Burrow Toy - Value $10.27
The second toy is an interactive burrow toy. The toy shell is a red heart with three squeaky pink bears inside it.
I can see this being a great challenge for most dogs as the pink bears are tricky to pull out of the durable heart. This is super cute and matches the theme perfectly.
Oliver sniffed this toy for awhile but was not interested in chewing on it.
I Pawty With My Dog Wine Glass - Listed Value $12
Surprise Pawty also includes an item for us, the pet parents! This month I received a stemless wine glass with a green inscription. The glass is about 4" tall and perfect for a nice glass of red wine. I feel the $12 listed value is a bit high for this item, but the printing is of good quality and I will put this to good use.
Roll of Earth Rated Waste Bags - Listed Value $0.87
As a bonus, subscribers received a bonus roll of waste bags. These have come in handy on our walks!
Verdict: This was another solid box from Surprise Pawty. The value totals around $54, which is great compared to the $39.99 a month cost (including shipping) and consistent with last month's value. I'm realizing that this box may not be a good fit for us personally, as Oliver is 13-years-old and less interested in playing with toys these days. That aside, I feel if you have an active dog, this box provides high-quality toys and treats.
