Each month is themed - March's box was a TEAM themed box.

It has been exactly 1 year since I've reviewed this box - so I was excited to take a peek again!

You'll get an insert card that details each item in your box.

Theme Button - Value $2?

You'll get a button that shows off the month's theme.

"Race" Shirt - Value $15?

Each month includes an exclusive t-shirt - this month's shirt features Rocket, Sonic, and The Flash - what a race that'd be! One thing I forgot was how comfortable these shirts are! They're 65% polyester and 35% ringspun cotton - SUPER soft right out of the box.

Sonic BOOM Plush - Value $12 on Amazon

This month includes a Sonic plush toy.

I grew up on Sonic, and I can't wait for the Sonic Manie game (I've had it pre-ordered for quite a while) - but Buckles always steals the plush toys from boxes! He got this one and loves playing with it.

Adventure Poster - Value $5-10?

This poster almost feels like sticker paper - it's thin and glossy.

1Up-Box-March-2017-0009

Finn and Jake are represented in a bit of an Anime style in this 14x6.5 inch poster.

Mutant Slap Bracelet - Value $5?

here's a blast from the past - a slap bracelet! This features little animated versions of the X-Men.

1Up-Box-March-2017-0011

They're almost in POP form - I like the character design even though I don't have a use for a slap bracelet.

1Up-Box-March-2017-0006

Turtle Stick Set - Value $5?

The last item is a TMNT sticker set.

1Up-Box-March-2017-0007

The character design reminds me a bit of Castle Crashers - and I love that it includes a pizza. It has to include a pizza.

Verdict: Anna had been reviewing this box for the past year because it's a geek box more focused at the younger audience - and that's still true. Not much has changed in the past year, but I feel like the formula is still working for their subscribers, so why change it? This is a great option if you're looking to get some small surprises for a kid.

I am always impressed with the quality of their T-shirts. It’s been a while since we received one of their boxes, but the t-shirts have lasted a long time. Loot crate t-shirts always shrink and fade.
