Now, onto the items!
Cargo Cosmetics Around the World Eye Shadow Palette – Value $34
This palette has a magnetic flap closure and a combo brush with a blender brush on one end and a liner brush on the other end.
There are 6 matte and 6 shimmer shades. (You might recognize this palette from the POPSUGAR Limited Edition Holiday Box!)
(BeautyCon sent me this spoiler early to answer any questions you might have about it.)
Here are all the shades swatched:
The pigment is good! (Some of the lighter shades don’t show up too well on my skin, but will work great as base shades.)
The BrowGal Convertible Brow: Powder to Pomade Duo Universal - Value $35
This set can be used as a powder with a dry application, or as a pomade when applied with a wet brush.
The pigment in these colors is great. (Swatched in lower photo.) And the pans are a good size for a brow powder - I think this will last me a year!
It also came with a spoolie/angled brush for application.
NYX Bright Idea Illuminating Stick in Rose Petal Pop - Value $8
This creamy stick has excellent pigment with a hint of shimmer. It sets to almost a powder finish immediately, but I still found it to be easy enough to blend out.
(Swatched in lower photo.)
Dirty Little Secret Velvet Matte Liquid Lipstick in Rust - Value $14
This liquid lipstick has decent staying power, and major pigment payoff. (I was worried with the "rust" color it would have orange undertones, but this ended up being a very wearable color for me!)
Here it is swatched beneath the NYX and above the brow powders:
Garnier Micellar Makeup Removing Towelettes - Value $6
I'm still using my Micellar water from the Winter Beautycon box (I love it for stray eyeliner/mascara marks), and I'm loving these wipes, too.
They are fragrance-free, gentle, and get the job done!
Luxie 516 Duo Fibre Powder Brush - Value $22
Thanks to subscription boxes, I have quite the Luxie brush collection now! The brushes are gorgeous and work well, so that's fine by me!
This vegan brush is super soft and designed to be used for blending out powders.
IBY Beauty Mineral Pressed Blush in Peach Sheen - Value $14
This blush is a peachy pink with golden shimmer. It is stunning! I'd say it is close to the cult-classic NARS blush, but a bit peachier. (And I just realized I'm missing the swatch photo of this - so I'll take the picture and add it asap!)
Nuxe Multi-Purpose Dry Oil – .33 oz Value $7.40
I’ve sampled this dry oil before thanks to subscription boxes, but it is still such a treat to receive in a box! You can use it on your face, body or hair to add a little shimmer and glow. (It looks super shimmery in the bottle, but it blends out well once applied.)
OGX Orchid Oil - Value $8
This oil spray is designed to help protect color-treated hair. (But even if you don't have color treated hair, I think you might like it!)
The scent is lovely! And it's a super lightweight spray that didn't weigh my hair down at all. It made my hair feel softer, and maybe a little shinier, too.
Verdict: This box has a value of about $148! I think that's an amazing value for a $36 quarterly box. I think they included a good mix of brands, and I'm thrilled that everything is full-size besides the NUXE oil.
