We have spoilers for the April 2017 Boxwalla Food box:

April_Foodtheme april_foodspoiler

The April's Food Box is themed 'Peppers with a chance of Sweet' as we follow the trail of pepper and catch glimpses of the places that peppers have been to. But what fun is pepper without some sweet?

Come join us this April as we continue to explore the story of the world through food.

P.S. Even though chilies may be involved, the things included in the April Food Box will be more about flavor than heat.

Spoiler # 1

Chili peppers originated in Mexico and so we start there with this decadent chocolate bar that wraps the slightest heat from Mexican ancho chilies in sea salt caramel, and dark chocolate ganache, with an unexpected tortilla crunch. Imagine a grown up, high quality version of those nougatty, caramelly chocolate bars and you won't be far off the mark. Soooo good!

Last day to subscribe is March 25!

It’s the Mayan Spice Bar from Mayana Chocolates! Oh man, that one and their Kitchen Sink Bar are the best. If anyone doesn’t want theirs, please swap with me!!
