Hey,

When is the review of the April box going to be posted? Robb Vices already did the reveal on Facebook. I’m just really hoping you have a better grasp of what if anything we can do with the Maya Romanoff vouchers since I’ve had vague responses that don’t leave me hopeful.

So, if I signed up today, when is my first box?

Sammee

If you sign up today your first box will be in May. You have to sign up before the end of the previous month to get the next month’s box.

Actually, I inquired today and received a quick response saying the deadline was extended to the end of the day April 7th. I will indeed get the April box as will anyone signing up through 04/07/17. It’s on their Facebook page in the event others would like to verify before pulling the trigger.
It should be an EPIC month!!!!!

OK THIS MAY HELP
Robb Vices team answered immediately.
“Thank you for reaching out. Since you are a founding member of Robb Vices, your renewal will continue to be at our current founders pricing as long as you keep your subscription active. Once you cancel your subscription, you will not receive the preferred pricing. When your subscription ends in May, it will automatically renew on the 25th and it will be at your current pricing. We greatly appreciate your patronage and cannot wait for you to experience what we have in store.”
I originally purchased this as a 3 month sub as a gift which inadvertently auto-renewed. I intended on getting 3 month subs for gifts at Christmas this year but did a 6 month one at Black Friday to get the extra box. I now just either break the boxes up and gift or to wow a certain person, will send the entire box. I get to keep my favorite things this way, Yay. The value is phenomenal, I think, definitely manly but completely suitable for women too.

I got this as a Christmas gift for my man and the Jan too… I had to get it shipped to CT to my uncles house which is only ten mins away. The problem was that it needed to be signed for and I couldnt sit and wait for Fedx or ask my busy uncle to do that either. I ended up getting re-sent to a Fedx 30 mins away. Then I had put his name on it so when I went to pick up they were saying that it had to be the person who’s address it had been sent too… It was worth the wait… Jan didnt have to be signed for so that was cool. I was more excited for the boxes honestly and I so wish that I could sign back up I know Aprils box is gonna be soooo amazing… I would love to be locked in with RV forever but I just can’t right now… I realize there is no point to my whole post…. Lol… Sorry lol..

Mine always come by FedEx. When I get notice that it will be delivered, I look for the hang tag from attempted delivery. Call FedEx or go on line to get it sent to the most convenient commercial place. I direct mine to the grocery store that takes fedex. I can pick it up anytime they are open and sign for it.

I really want this but I don’t think I could get away with having packages shipped to work… I’d be happy to just have them held at the post office but it sounds like they just keep attempting delivery until they give up and send them back.

You can create a FedEx account and have your boxes sent to the nearest FedEx store. That’s what I do because the FedEx delivery people in my area are so unreliable. More than once they came and left with my box because they knocked on the wrong door.

i REALLY wish they would either do a non-alcoholic sub option or provide spoilers so you can skip months that do contain alcohol (due to medications). i love their curation/value for everything else however.

Robin

I’m with you on that. If they had a non-alcohol option I’d be all over it. I understand that it would change the “experience ” of the box, but unfortunately me+booze=a scary experience most people would want to avoid! And I don’t really have any friends who are drinkers, either, so no one to gift that portion of the box to. But its just a really well put together box.

I’ve been wanting to subscribe to this one since it started so I think this is pushing me over the edge.

I have the same question as karol below – exactly how does the lock-in work? If we sub for 3 months can we renew only at three months at the locked in three months rate (like could we change to a different plan or would that take us to the new higher rate?)

I know in the past I did an annual sub to LLB before they changed their pricing structure and when it came up for renewal my only option was to renew at the new higher rate while monthly subscribers were locked in indefinitely (obviously until now, when it went under). So my only experience with pricing changes is that (negative) one.

Thanks!

I’m behind…LLB went under! I have a rear sub for it as well as Serendipity….😬

Wendy

rear = year 😂

Candace

oh gosh… just signed up. It’ll make a good birthday gift for my husband, lol. Trying to justify it.

I finally caved last week and got the six month sub with your promo code to get a gift or the february box as my gift. So Happy I took the plunge and am not on the fence today knowing the price is going up. =)

How long do you think the locked in rate will be good for?

Courtney

I love Robb Vices and I have never seen a box from them that I just absolutely hated. This is one of the best subscription boxes out there. ❤

Monique

Can you skip months on this subscription?

Reply ButtonReply

Sammee

You can skip a renewal if you go month to month and resume the subscription the following month, but with the new price increase, I assume that means you will lose the lower price and will have to pay the higher price when you continue. The tricky thing about RV is that they never send out a single spoiler to give you an inkling about whether you’ll like the box – not even a theme – so it’s truly a shot in the dark. RV saying that next month will be the highest value box to date is the closest thing to a spoiler I’ve ever seen from them. Although most months it’s a safe bet there will be some sort of hard spirit in it. I give those away.

I have been watching this box. Did not like the Feb or March boxes but am hopeful for a great April box. I signed up for 3 months.

Reply ButtonReply

Candace

I absolutely loved the Feb box! Just signed up and emailed to see if I could apply the coupon for the free Feb box with subscription, so hopefully I’ll get it. Fingers crossed.

Reply ButtonReply

Candace

Yeah, so the Feb box is only if you sub for the year, and I got the 6-month option 🙁

abidina

The March box is the first Robb Vices box I’ve ever seriously NOT wanted, so if I sign up today, will my first box be the April box?

Reply ButtonReply

karol

I asked them specifically for a prior month’s box the very first time I signed up a gift sub and they were super nice about it. They have been slow at times to respond but I think if you communicate with them, they will take care of you.

My question is: does this mean that when I renew my subscription in June, September and December, the price will be the old price as long as I consistently reup? I can’t afford more than 3 months at a time. Robb Vices, any comment?

This box makes great gifts. I am breaking them up instead of giving subs so I can keep my favorite items.

Zo

I received an email when I signed up just now and it said my “journey will commence next month” so April must be the first box.

Reply ButtonReply

Andrea

I signed up with the enfuego16 coupon, and it’s been a mess since. Numerous emails sent, and unfortunately, they can’t tell me if I am indeed gettting a March box as my first box, I might be missing out on an April box, and I’m not due for the next box charge until 4/25 (I was charged upon initial signup on 3/10).

Reply ButtonReply

hildol

Normally when you sign up on the 1st of anytime thereafter, you will get the following months box. So Sign up March 10, you will get April’s Box. The cahrge 4/25 is for May’s box and that will be their charge date
