Now, onto the items:

Glossy-box-march-2017-0016

Catrice Cosmetics Rose Palette - Value $7

Glossy-box-march-2017-0017

This palette includes 3 matte and 3 shimmer shades. The pigment is pretty good across all shades. (Definitely use a primer, though!)

(Swatched in lower photo.)

Glossy-box-march-2017-0014

Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner - Value $26

Glossy-box-march-2017-0015

This brow lift has a brow pencil on one side and a highlighter on the other end. You have to apply some pressure to get any color payout, so you don't have to worry about accidentally overdoing it in one swipe!

Here are the brow and highlighter pencils swatched beneath the eye shadow palette:

Glossy-box-march-2017-0029

(The highlighter pencil is barely visible.)

Glossy-box-march-2017-0025

Incoco Nail Polish Applique - Value $9

Glossy-box-march-2017-0026

I've tried a lot of different nail stickers thanks to subscription boxes, and these are by far my favorite brand.

Glossy-box-march-2017-0027

These nail appliques are made from actual nail polish, so the finished look actually looks like nail polish, and not like you are wearing stickers on your nails. (Issues I've had with NCLA nail wraps and Jamberry.)

Glossy-box-march-2017-0028

To apply these, you stick them on your nails, then bend the excess portion over your nail and file your nail to remove it.

Here they are on:

Glossy-box-march-2017-0030

These have excellent staying power, too!

Glossy-box-march-2017-0018

Mary Kay Timewise Sampler Set

Glossy-box-march-2017-0019

I was surprised to see Mary Kay in this box! This set includes:

Glossy-box-march-2017-0023

Mary Kay Timewise Repair Volu-firm Night Treatment with Retinol - .3 oz Value $9

This cream is designed to help boost skin hydration and improve skin tone. It's a rich cream, but it didn't leave my skin feeling greasy - just soft! I'm a fan.

Glossy-box-march-2017-0024

Mary Kay Timewise Repair Volu-Firm Eye Renewal Cream - 3 g Value $8.40

This cream is designed to improve deep lines, wrinkles, and sagging skin. It's a lighter cream than the night cream, but still felt really hydrating on my skin. (And it was gentle, too.)

Glossy-box-march-2017-0021

Mary Kay Timewise Repair Volu-firm Foaming Cleanser - .5 oz Value $3.10

This is a gentle, creamy, cleanser. It's fragrance-free but it still has a scent. (It reminds me of one of the Gap body mists of my youth!)

Glossy-box-march-2017-0020

Mary Kay Timewise Repair Volu-firm Serum - .25 oz Value $17.50

This serum is designed to help firm and lift skin. It is fragrance-free, but it still has a subtle minty fresh scent. The formula is creamy, absorbs quickly, and left my skin feeling smooth and hydrated.

Glossy-box-march-2017-0022

Mary Kay Timewise Repair Volu-firm Day Cream - .3 oz Value $9

This day cream has SPF 30. I like the formula, but I'm not crazy about the scent - I'm guessing that's the SPF.

Glossy-box-march-2017-0010

Tarteguard 30 Sunscreen Lotion Broad Spectrum SPF 30 - Value $32

I'm always excited to see Tarte in a subscription box - I love this brand!

Glossy-box-march-2017-0011

This sunscreen smells lovely, absorbed quickly, and worked well under makeup. The only downside is that my bottle has an expiration date of June 2017. Still, I try to use SPF regularly, (not just the summer months), so I should be able to get through this bottle before June hits!

Glossy-box-march-2017-0012

Figs & Rouge Avance+ Mattifying Emulsion MT+ Sheer Primer - 15 ml Value $18.60

(Good to know for swaps - this item has an inner foil seal.)

I like this gel primer. It has a nice, beachy scent, and it gave my skin a perfect finish for applying foundation.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $139. The value is amazing, and I really like all the products in this box. (I'm loving the Mary Kay products more than I thought I would!) This is one of my favorite Glossyboxes in a while. Now I just hope all variations Glossybox sends out this month are similar.

I am not real impressed with Glossybox right now. I signed up on 3/30 and they took the payment. This box is finally supposed to arrive today. Then on 4/15 they charged me again even though their website says between the 1st and the 8th.
I have emailed them twice and gave not received any response. I think I will cancel and switch to Boxy Charm. Anyone else have similar experiences?

Christina

I had the exact situation. Must be because we are new?? I got my box yesterday and there was some brown goo on everything. As far as I can tell, none of the products are brown! I would email them, but it doesn’t appear they answer. I didn’t even get an automated response saying they received my email. On the bright side, it seems to be a great value box. I got the bb cream, the eye roller and the eb5 products along with the rest of the stuff everyone else got. I had cancelled because of the lack of communication and the fact that my box too so long to get here, but resigned up to get the Mother’s day box. April box doesn’t look so good and I have cancelled again. I’m big on customer service and it appears they don’t have any!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Nan

That 2nd payment is probably for your April box.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Does anyone want my brow pencil? I won’t use it—I don’t bother with my eyebrows.

Reply ButtonReply

Rebecca

Sure!

Reply ButtonReply

Irene

I would t recommend this sub to my enemy the customer service is horrible it takes a month to get your box if you get it at all I resubscribed in feb got feb box 3/30 they took my money 3/11 for March it’s 4/11 still no March box honestly Glossy fell off they were great last year but they have taken all the fun and excitement out of it for me. I will stick to Boxycharm Ipsy And Fit Fab Fun

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

I got the march box in april but I’m shocked that after all this I’m actually happy with it! I didn’t get mary kay, my palette came perfectly in tact! I ended up getting the bb cream, gold caviar eye gel, brow pencil, marble nail thingies, the only really cheap thing were the ebb cleanser and toner but I was just thrilled when I opened the box and wasn’t covered in eyeshadow like so many others! After all the horror stories and waiting a month for the box that made me cancel the sub I’m actually super happy with it.
And they sent a Vichi face cream replacement for my dried out pathetic attempt at the retro brow duo from the month before in record time and it had twice the retail value! I may actually resubscribe if a decent sale pops up.

AAC

I’m so disappointed in the value of the eb5 items. The full size 6 oz items are $10 each. But the 0.75 oz versions are worth $1.25. How is that even comparable with the $40-50 Mary Kay set? The discrepancy is insane.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

I’m with you but I just wanted nothing to do with Mary Kay and the “$50” is super inflated by the company. They could have definitely afforded to just give the full size product but I wasn’t expecting much after all the issues they’ve had this month so I’m taking my Tarte BB for the $17.41 I paid for the box and doing a happy jig.

MICHELLe

I got the bb in medium and am surprised that I am able to wear it. It’s a pretty light medium. I’ve tried smasbox bb in light and liked it, and I thought I would be able to wear their light/medium. It was much too dark and orange. This is more neutral and again surprisingly wearable for me. I love the coverage and velvet finish!

Reply ButtonReply

AAC

I was hopeful after your review of the medium shade, but I must be much paler than you because it totally did NOT work for me after swatching it. It looked really muddy on my complexion. Sadly, have to put mine on swap.

Khaleesi

I wasn’t totally excited about March or April spoilers, but I got the tinted BB cream (1 oz) so I’m over the moon. I’ve been wanting this so bad and glad I didn’t have to buy it! The palette is beautiful, too. Glossybox is a keeper ❤

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

Did everyone receive the Tarte BB cream in medium? My skin is very pale. I haven’t opened it, but I think it would be too dark for me. (I know some people received the sunscreen.)

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

Just got an email confirming my shipment for March. I will not be getting the tarte sunscreen. It says I’m getting the tarte BB cream. I am hoping this is full size as they promised 3 of the items to be full size. I did not get the Mary KAY which I’m ok with. Instead I’m getting the cleansing duo lotion. I like trying out new face washes and I’m excited to try the BB cream since a tinted moisturizer, transplant powder and mascara is my daily going to work routine. After reading the comments I’m hoping my eyeshadow palette does not come broken… since I did the 6 months with the 25% off and only paying 13.90 I think it’s a great deal. As I’m with birch box now also and not too happy with any of the tiny samples I get with them.

Reply ButtonReply

Nancy

I received a broken palette, sent a polite email, received a polite email in return, and a replacement palette today. I actually received the palette sooner than promised. I guess you really do get more bee’s with honey, than vinegar..lol

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

I totally understand ppl being upset when things come damaged but it seems like they have replaced all the damaged palettes so that’s great. And you can’t get mad at some one when it’s out of their control. I patiently waited for my shipment confirmation with out complaining to them as I figured since I did sign up after the 15th I knew I wouldn’t get mine right away. It’s definitely better to be nice and polite then mean.

Christine

Glossybox posted a 25% special on their actual Instagram page. 25% off a 3 or 6 month subscription using the code “insta25” or 50% off your first box using the code “insta50”.

They must be losing subscribers after the exploded eye shadow palette incident of March 2017.

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

Can’t control damages with shipments but if they are replacing the damaged ones with new ones then I think it’s a good subscription. And as 25% off a 3 or 6 month or 50% off 1 month it’s still a great deal for the amount of products you get

Reply ButtonReply

Genevieve Mullis

Has everyone gotten their boxes? I STILL haven’t gotten mine!
They told me they couldn’t refund my charge because it had already gone out when I told them I wanted to cancel my sub but is has yet to arrive.
They said I would be charging for April too!

Reply ButtonReply

Jess

I just received an email today confirming the shipment. An hour later when I logged in its showed me exactly what was on its way. I hope you have received yours or at least a notification by now. I think if you signed up after the 15th they didn’t ship out until later. I have a tracking number but can not view it. It says it will take 48 hrs to update. Hoping we will get April’s sooner.

Reply ButtonReply

Genevieve Mullis

I haven’t gotten mine yet. I signed up at the end of February, got my Feb box but still waiting on my March box to ship.
I have lots of subscriptions and this is the only one I regret signing up for.

Jess

I just received my box today – it took a while from when they billed me too. Hope yours arrives soon!

Reply ButtonReply

I finally got mine but I knew what i was to receive before I got the box because I have the glassdots up to review
Kind of bummed on this I got a repeat item from not that long ago
Especially since I was dumb enough to pay full price

Mine just arrived today

Same! I haven’t received any kind of shipping notification or anything. Yet I was charged for it.

Well, that’s annoying! FWIW I got mine 2 weeks ago.

Awwww!!! I’m getting so frustrated! My Mary Kay products.. the ones with the pumps, won’t come out! I have been pumping the pumps for over an hour already! I tried taking the top off.. nothing, it won’t open in anyway! How are we suppose to use these samples? Is anyone else having this problem.. or did I get defective ones? I’m ready to get a hammer already.. I might get the serum out then!

Reply ButtonReply

Melissa W.

OMG!!! I finally got it opened! It’s completely empty! Nothing at all inside! No wonder it wasn’t pumping anything out! I’m mad now. How can they give us empty samples!! Check your Mary Kay products with the pumps ladies. Is anyone elses empty?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

I’d planned to take mine on vacation next month, so I checked it based on your experience. I only had to pump a couple times and it works fine. So yours seems to be defective.

Regina

I received my box today, the same variation Liz received. I’m pleased. My sunscreen expires in August, which is fine, it should be gone by then. I’m actually looking forward to using the Mary Kay products, and trying the nail product….I’ve never tried the nail product before. Its a good box.

Reply ButtonReply

Chrissy

Just got my box today. It’s the same as the one reviewed, the only difference is the expiration date of my sunscreen is August.
I’m taking a break from Glossybox.

kathy

i have an eye gel liner from eve by eve from last months box – if anyone wants to swap for lip liner or mascara

Reply ButtonReply

Teresa in Fort Worth, TX

I just received my first box – the makeup palette was damaged, and I only got 2 of the 3 extra samples. Getting ready to contact them; hope I have better luck than it sounds like others are having.

Reply ButtonReply

Nancy

Hi…I received the same as you. I emailed them on Tuesday and received a response today. They are going to replace the palette, and it was a mix up about the 3 items, everyone got 2 etc. So, hopefully the palette will be sent, they said by the end of next week..hope this helps

Reply ButtonReply

Kimberly

I got two of the samples from the right side of the fold out card also. I received the Mary Kay set and the Figs & Rouge Mattifying Emulsion.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Is it normal to be subscribed and not receive your March box till April? I subscribed in February, they took the money out for March but still hasn’t even been mailed out… I was waiting too actually check out the box before I canceled. NOT a Mary Kay fan in the least and February I only liked for the nail polish so I don’t see myself continuing but for $16 I was hoping it would be worth the gamble and now I’m even doubting that…

Reply ButtonReply

kathy

i have not rec’d March either and I have been subscribing for over a year

Reply ButtonReply

Beatrice Lawson

I guess the packaging shouldn’t worry me but I am shallow like that:-) The box is gorgeous and frankly I would love to save it for storage. But it is such an unusual box for a sub – normally they don’t hav aa lid like that. How come the box reaches you without everything spilling out and in such good shape? (obviously never subbed to them, I’m used to regular mailers that tuck in and everything). Is the lid taped to the bottom? Is it placed inside another box (I would hate extra packaging.) Or is wrapped in clingy film? Curious people want to know…

Reply ButtonReply

Lola

It is shipped in an outer corrugated cardboard box which can be reused to ship items to other people.

Reply ButtonReply

Jira

I got my box today and I do like it more than I thought I would. However I can’t help but noticed that in the brochure on the right side, they mentioned that you will receive 3 products out of that page, but I only receive 2 (Mary Kay set and primer). Liz seems to be getting 2 as well. Is it a printing mistake or did they forget to put in one more item?

Reply ButtonReply

Nancy

I got mine today with 2 products as well, sent an email (my shadow palette was smashed) questioning the pamphlet saying 3 etc..now I wait…

Reply ButtonReply

LizC

I signed up for Glossybox in February, (unfortunately after the 15th) and my first box was disappointing for me. I got an eyeshadow that was broken all over everything in my box. I wanted to cancel, but couldn’t cuz of when i signed up, so I was stuck with March. Well 2nd month in a row, my eyeshadow palette was completely broken, and everything was covered in eyeshadow. My box was in complete disarray.
However, both times when i emailed them i did get a response. Last month they gave me a list of products i could choose from. This month they said they would send me a new palette. (still havent received the replacement product from last month)
Very bad impression for me though. I cancelled. Will stick with Boxycharm.

Reply ButtonReply

Emilia

My box is almost the same, only instead of a brow pensil I got Emité tinted eye cream. This is my free box and it just happens to be my best one ever! I’ll use every single thing, which had never happened before. I have no prejudice about Mary Kay or cheaper brands. Expensive does’t always mean good.

Reply ButtonReply

Charlie

I haven’t seen an item in glossybox that i’ve been excited about in over a year. It just isn’t a $20 box anymore. The ‘high end’ samples they send out are no name brands. Yuck.

Reply ButtonReply

Jackie

My eyeshadow palette was shattered and covered everything in my box. That wasn’t great, but I do like the other items I received. My nail polish has graphic triangles, which is a very nice look.

Reply ButtonReply

Jen

My eyeshadow palette arrived the same way crushed and all over everything in the box.

Reply ButtonReply

beth hammons

My pallette was also shattered.i emailed.no response.3rd month with glossybox. So far not impressed.i like my $10 boxes better.

Reply ButtonReply

Bonnie

Me too…the shadow was all over everything. I cleaned up my other products and emailed Glossybox, but have not heard back. I would like to try the shadow, but it’s obviously a cheap brand so it’s not the end of the world if I can’t.

Reply ButtonReply

Geena

Ulta carries them online, or did recently.

tam

The nail appliques are so pretty! I want to try them.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

I got the same box as the spoiler and the printout is different.

I cancelled and want to resub for 6 month deal but will I get March again? I’ve seen others comments but I’m still confused.

Also, according to that printout there should be 3 products and looks like there are only 2.

I have mixed feelings about glossybox but I loved this month’s box.

Reply ButtonReply

Nicole

I was able to ‘change my subscription’ on my account from month to month to 6 months and it allowed me to put in the code ‘womancrush’ promo for 25% off so my total was $83.25. My March box was paid for but hadn’t shipped yet and I wasn’t sure if I would get 2 March boxes or if the subscription will go to September, but when I checked my account today, it says my ending month is September 2017 so I think it extended it. Either way, I’m happy with this promo working 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

LB

My printout was also different. But instead of the brow pencil I got the eye brightener. And I was also confused about it seeming to say that 3 items from the right side should be in this box and there only being two. Maybe they realized they messed up the printouts and changed them?? But mine didn’t mention the pencil at all….

The post about the 25% off 3 and 6 month subs said that the first box would be March if you (re)subscribe now. So if you already got March, which it sounds like, I’m assuming you’ll get another one when you resign up. If you didn’t cancel before March 14, you’ve also already been charged for April so you may get a duplicate of that box too. I’m not really sure though…

I cancelled my month-to-month on March 10 and resubscribed on March 14 with the 25% off deal. It doesn’t show any shipment notification yet but I assume I’ll get another March box.

Reply ButtonReply

Julie

Thank you. When I went on their website yesterday to find the contact info it said you could cancel on March 15th until 11:59pm so I did and resubbed for 6 months to get this deal.
I lucked out since it’s usually the 14th to cancel according to their other info.

I’m curious to see what my 2nd March box will be. The caviar product looks interesting.

Julie

Anyone know how long the code is good for?
If not, how long are glossybox coupons usually good for?

Reply ButtonReply

Ingrid

Did anyone that used the tarte promo code in February receive an extra full size item?

Reply ButtonReply

Jay

Upon a careful reading of the promo, it looks like the code wasn’t for an “extra” item, but rather to “ensure” that you received a full-size Tarte item in your box. All the mentions of it being a “bonus” item were from MSA, not Glossybox. 😕

Reply ButtonReply

Ingrid

Yeah…but since all March boxes had the sunscreen, the need for a promo code was absolute BS to unload unsold February boxes. Very shady business.

Kerry

My box was almost identical to your box except I received the EMITÉ MAKE UP
MILLESIS® Active Eye Light instead of the Studio 10 Brow Lift Perfecting Liner. Here is the link on the glossybox site. I was very happy with this month’s box.
https://www.glossybox.com/brands/emite-make-up/millesisr-active-eye-light-shade-101/

Reply ButtonReply

Tanya

I loved the Eye Light, too! I’m so glad I got it! It masks my circles without looking like I’m masking them, if that makes any sense. 🙂 It’s like it is lightening them up a bit, but not all the way, so it doesn’t look fake. Maybe that’s a better description. Anyway, I love it, too! This was a good month for Glossybox, IMO!

Reply ButtonReply

Jaclyn

I really like the concealer and am so glad Glossybox sent it out in Light, so that I can actually use it.

Reply ButtonReply

Jamie

I hated my box, but I looove the concealer!! Have you tried it yet?

Reply ButtonReply

Michelle

Yes, I love the concealer! I didn’t love the box at first but it’s growing on me. I think I will use it all, even the Mary Kay set for an upcoming vacation.

Michelle

Me, Too! Thanks for posting the link, I needed some Intel on the eye product, it’s Great! I’m so glad to have the $25 full size!

I’ll throw the Mary Kay kit in my travel bag for next vacation. Too bad I just returned from one last week, the kit would’ve been nice.
