JOHNNY WAS - Tappa Velvet Jacket
I was really excited to get this velvet jacket, but it didn't look as vibrant and pretty in real life as it did on the website. I didn't really like it on me. Of all the Johnny Was pieces I have tried in my life, there has only been one that I loved, yet Johnny Was is so spendy! I'm not sure why.
ISABEL + ALICE - Butterfly Printed Notched Tunic
I feel like a small child admitting this, but I totally love butterfly printed anything! They are so pretty. This is not my favorite color scheme in the world, but it fit well and was fairly flattering. This was a poly/spandex blend.
JETE - Ombre Geometric Notched Tunic
Aside from the print and trim, this tunic was identical to the previous one! The material, fit and cut were all the same! I think this one actually looked a little better on me, I guess because of the colors.
JM COLLECTION - Gold Venice Scarf Top
When I saw this tunic online, I thought I would love it, but it just didn't fit me right. It was a little small, and it got this weird rounded effect on the front hem. This was another poly/spandex blend tunic, and I think I am just getting a little bored with them. It was comfortable enough, though.
STYLE & CO - Stripe Button Front Jacket
I loved this cotton hoodie! It was nice and soft, and the cut was absolutely perfect for me! I like that the breeze is blowing a bit in this picture so that you can see the cool inside-out effect this fabric has. I wore this for three days straight!
AINSLEY - Navy & Blue Striped Margaux Top
I loved this top, too! I thought it might be wrong for my body shape, but I actually really liked it! This was also poly/spandex blend, but the tie and dolman sleeves made it feel more stylish. I liked the colors, too!
CITY CHIC - Heavenly Stripe Shirt
What a fun top! This is so different from what I usually wear, but I just loved it! Again, I thought it would look bad on me because of the cut, but I really like it! The only thing I didn't like that much about it is that it's a synthetic blend instead of natural fiber. From the picture online, I expected it to be cotton.
NYDJ - Clarissa Ankle Jean in Burbank Wash
Public Service Announcement: Size down with NYJD, always. They have this amazing cotton/poly/elastane thinning technology that goes to waste if you select your regular size. These jeans were super cute and fit like a glove! I really liked them.
Verdict: I love Gwynnie Bee! I wore everything this month, but there were some pieces I liked more than others. I think this time of year I just get tired of tunics. I really liked the two spring tops, though! I think my favorite piece was the hoodie. I also love trying new things, and I love wearing something different every day.
