When you sign up, you'll choose your house - I chose Gryffindor! If you want to see other houses' boxes, check out this post with every house shown.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0006

Your information card will come as a rolled up scroll with a sticker seal that looks like a wax seal.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0007

Unrolled, you'll see information about each product in your box. This month included all exclusive items.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0016

Sorting Hat Pin - Value $5?

Each month always includes a themed pin. What better pin than the sorting hat for a house pride box!

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0024

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0025

Hogwarts Raglan - Value $20?

This month's shirt is the same across all of the houses, it's a Hogwarts raglan shirt displaying the crest and all of its houses.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0026

This raglan/baseball shirt features baseball-shirt like sleeves with the raglan look.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0027

It also includes the house mascots within the school crest. There's a lot of discussion over the house mascot for Ravenclaw - according to the Harry Potter Wiki a Raven is used in the movie adaptation, but the Eagle is the mascot of the book source material.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0008

Gryffindor Duffle Bag - Value $20?

This first house-specific item in the box is a duffle bag.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0009

This will be customized with house colors and crest.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0010

It's got color piping to accent your house colors.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0011

It comes with a shoulder strap as well, but no other pockets other than the bag itself. It's a smaller duffle bag, I'd say it's perfect for a trip to the gym where you're carrying a change of clothes and some shoes - but that might be the extent of what could fit.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0012

Gryffindor Beanie - Value $15?

I love the designs of these house beanies.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0014

Like the duffel, this will be customized with your house colors and crest.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0013

The all-around print of the house name is great - it's my favorite part of this beanie! It's really warm, too - and even though it's technically Spring, I have a feeling there is still time to use this.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0019

Hogwarts Express Lanyard - Value $5-10?

My first thought was, this is a bit generic for a house box, but then the description does make sense.

Every term, students board the Hogwarts Express on this journey to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Now you can show off your very own Hogwarts Express branded lanyard.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0018

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0020

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0021

This is exclusive, but it doesn't feel like something that you couldn't buy somewhere else.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0022

It's detachable at the upper-neck.

Wizarding-world-march-2017-0023

And detachable at the badge - which can be useful at a Con.

Verdict: The only item I didn't really care for in the box was the lanyard (I really don't have much use for them in general), so overall this box was a success for Team Gryffindor! This is the type of stuff I had envisioned when I first heard about this box, so I'm excited to see what kind of customization might be coming down the line.

I was a little underwhelmed, especially since the House Pride box is one they’ve been trying to get out the door since the box launched. I feel like the previous box was a significantly better value.

i was really excited for house stuff since i don’t have any slytherin items. the down side for me was the shirt and hat. i live in the southwest, and it’s already way too hot for beanies and long sleeves. i have to wait until at least late october or even november, which sucks. short sleeved shirts i can wear year round.

Same with me. It is already super hot here. So there is no way I will use this beanie, truthfully i dont think I would wear it ever since it is never cold enough here. I am disappointed with the items overall, could really do with something else instead of beanie, I really have no use for all those pins.

The duffle is better quality than the spoilers made it seem, but I still find that beanie ugly. Still kinda glad I waited so long that it sold out. LOL

Is it too late to get this box?

Yes, the next theme is ‘The Dark Arts’ and it ships in May.

Oh no really. When would you have had to sign up to get it?

Davis

Definitely their best box yet!! This is what I was expecting the boxes to be like when they announced this sub.

I was nervous about some of these items looking cheap or poor quality, but was pleasantly surprised! 🙂

I actually think the retail values of these items would be a bit higher in stores – especially the duffel bag and beanie hat – the fabrication of these is really nice!

Just fair warning to anyone interested in signing up – the products may be nice, but the customer service of Loot Crate for this box has been just AWFUL, time and time again since the first box. Be prepared for a few headaches is any issue arises with your shipment!

I have had had really good customer service with them. But I use the chat feature that pops up on the right side of the page. They were so nice that I actually got $10 off my next box because of a mix-up over which box was going to be my first. Maybe its the email service that has the bad customer service? Idk but defiantly try the chat feature next time, cuz at least you get an immediate response.

I was disappointed with the Ravenclaw box, I should have known it was going to be movie versions and had gotten Hufflebox to give to my sister instead lol

I am Gryffindor too! I wasn’t sure about the lanyard but after seeing your pictures (I haven’t opened it up yet) I think I’m going to use it for my work badge. Thanks for the review!!
