JustFab is a monthly clothing, shoes and accessories subscription. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices on everything in their store. On the first of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want – either from your personal ‘Boutique’ or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.
This model is similar to how ShoeDazzle, Fabletics and AdoreMe work.

For the first time, I received an invoice in this month's JustFab package. It itemizes the items I ordered and notes their customer service info.
On the back of the invoice, their exchange and return policies are detailed.
Franz Fabric Clutch - retail $36.95 (VIP price: $24.95)
I was so excited about the new styles popping up on JustFab, that I decided to order two items this month! The first is this large clutch made from a woven cotton and accented with faux leather trim and tassel. I absolutely love this bag! It is durable and feels high-quality and I really like the color scheme and southwestern-inspired pattern. It's 12.5"X9", so a bit larger than I was anticipating, but can easily be worn as a clutch or shoulder bag (with the provided shoulder strap).
The inside of the bag has a complimentary patterned lining and two pockets, one of which is zippered. There is a plethora of room for everything from my wallet, keys and phone, to a small book or tablet.
The shoulder strap is also a black faux leather, that matches the other accents. The tassel is about 4" long and really substantial! This bag has already become my day-time go to and I am really enjoying the versatility.
I likely won't wear this bag with a super dressy outfit, but for nighttime, it adds a casual edge to my usual solid and neutral outfits.
Distressed Slim Boyfriend Denim in Blue Heaven - retail $56.95 (VIP price: $39.95)
My second pick this month is this pair of boyfriend denim. If you follow my other clothing reviews, it's clear I live in denim and am always on the hunt for new styles. I have yet to find a boyfriend cut that works, so I was really excited to try these out. These are available in a darker shade, but I opted for the lighter shade (both options are fully stocked in sizes 24-24W).
I was anticipating and hoping for the cut of this denim to be relaxed, and that they are. They are super roomy in the leg which I am happy about, but unfortunately, the waist is too big, even for boyfriend denim. I usually prefer to not compare myself to the JustFab models, but they are clearly tighter on the model and the name of these jeans include "Slim" so I was expecting a more fitted cut. I am confident that these run about one size too large and need to decide whether to exchange them or have them tailored about an inch. I will be completely happy with these when the waist fits better! The rolled cuff is not stitched in place, so this look and option is adjustable.
I really like the distressing and placement of the tear accents. They are not reinforced, so I am anticipating a change in the distressing after several washes. The back of this pair has no holes although there is a similar wash as the front.
Verdict: I am overall happy with this month's JustFab picks. Despite the sizing issue with the denim, I will get a lot of wear out of both pieces throughout the year. And it looks like their exchange policy is pretty easy! For a total of $64.90 (including free shipping), I received $93.90 worth of items, which I am happy with. Compared to other clothing boxes like Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, I am finding that despite the higher upfront out-of-pocket expense, I prefer to choose my items each month and find there's less risk with this subscription model.
