This Little Passports Early Explorers package was devoted to Dinosaurs and fossil discoveries from around the world.
My son loves completing the fun activities in his Passport each month. They are always closely linked to the month’s theme. There are puzzles, coloring pages, mazes and much more. This month he especially liked the dinosaur track maze.
This package included trading cards which focused on three dinosaurs: Velociraptor, Brachiosaurus, and Parasaurolophus.
Max and Mia mail a postcard each month and it shows something or somewhere they are visiting. This month the postcard was of fossils at the Senckenberg Museum in Germany.
Little Passports Early Explorers always sends along a little extra toy or craft each month. This month they sent a small plush dinosaur toy. My son loves dinosaurs and still enjoys stuffed animals so this was a nice treat for him.
Each package contains a cardboard flashlight that you pop out and slide between a transparent sheet and cardboard backing. As you slip the flashlight around it highlights different discoveries that Max and Mia want to show you. My son looks forward to the flashlight activity each month. The novelty has not worn off!
The first month of Little Passports Early Explorers came with an orange suitcase. Every month thereafter they include a luggage tag to hang on the suitcase handle, a sticker to decorate the suitcase and a few assorted stickers based on the theme which are placed on a world map (also included in the very first shipment). You can see how many tags are hanging from our suitcase handle and how many stickers have been placed on our world map over the months. All the different postcards, trading cards, and passports are also kept stored in our suitcase.
Verdict: Our dinosaur themed Little Passports Early Explorers package this month was a lot of fun. My son loved the passport activities and plush dino the most this month. We find this subscription to be both fun and educational at a great price point. I highly recommend it for families with young children that want to learn about the world and have fun at the same time.
