Loot Crate DX is Loot Crate's deluxe crate. They pitch it as an "elevated assortment of collectibles, apparel, home goods and more from your favorite pop culture franchises every month." They also promise no crossover items from the Core Loot Crate box.
This month's theme was PRIMAL.
Loot Crate kindly sent us this box to review. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
How great is this inner box lid!

The March Loot Crate DX definitely focused on quality over quantity! It featured Animal Man, Kong, Predator, and Godzilla!
Each month includes a detail card that lists out every item in the box - this month was an all-exclusive month.
Predator Pin - Value $5-10?
Each month includes a pin to go along with the theme. The Loot Crate DX pins are about double the size of the normal pins, and I'm loving the Predator mask pin.
Reactor Glow Godzilla Figure - Value $30+?
This month didn't include any wearable items - which I'm totally OK with - instead, we get two AWESOME exclusive variant figures.
The first is of Godzilla!
Godzilla stands about 6.75 inches tall and about 10 inches side-to-side with its giant tail!
I was surprised at the amount of detail and articulation on this figure. Godzilla has maneuverable feet, knees, legs, shoulders, elbows, hands, mouth, tail, and head!
And the best part...
Godzilla glows in the dark! This is the exclusive feature of this figure! I love it!
Predator Jungle Demon Figure - Value $45 (based on Amazon pack of 7)
This figure is really exciting, too! We get 2 NECA figures this month - and this is an exclusive first-to-market figure!
The cloaked Predator is part of a 30th anniversary NECA line coming out this summer - it's one of seven new figures all based on the original movie!
Like the Godzilla figure, it features a lot of articulation - 30 points according to the box. The blaster backpack is also removable, giving you a couple different looks to work with.
This is Predator's happy dance when he claims a new 'trophy'.
KONG Skull Island Mug - Value $10-15?
Kong gets some representation with a Skull Island skull mug.
I like the bones-for-handle look of the mug!
The mug is not microwave safe and is marked as handwash recommended. It kind of reminds me of the chilled monkey brains scene from Temple of Doom!
Animal Man Loot Crate Edition - Value $10-15?
The final item is an exclusive collection of Animal Man stories.
The Loot Crate edition features issues 1-5 of the original series that dates back to 1988 - plus, an exclusive variant cover. I like the throwback volume because it aligns with the other items - they all feel like throwbacks!
Verdict: This might be my favorite Loot Crate DX yet. I was happy that the hero items were two AWESOME figures - I'll take this type of selection over a wearable anytime. Throw in the Kong mug and comic, and I think it's a home run.
