Love Goodly is a vegan subscription box that sends a mix of beauty, wellness and lifestyle items every other month.

FYI - For this box, I worked with Love Goodly to select one of the brands featured in the box: One Love Organics. (They are one of my all time favorite luxe, natural beauty brands.) So, I went into this review already knowing I'm a fan of one of the products - because I picked it! Please keep that in mind when reading the review.

Each box comes with an info card detailing the items included.

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0005

And I'm super excited about this box because I got to pick one of the brands included!

Now, onto the items!

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0010

One Love Organics Love Springs Eternal Youth Preservation Serum - FULL SIZE! Value $75

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0012

I got to work with Love Goodly for this box, and One Love Organics was my brand pick! I love One Love Organic formulas - they are ingredient-conscious and smell lovely. (And they are a splurge beauty brand for me - so I was thrilled to see this $75 serum in a $30 box!)

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0011

This serum scent reminds me of the paperwhite narcissus flower! I've been using it as my nighttime serum for the past few weeks, and I love how soft it makes my skin feel. I put the recommended 3-5 pumps onto my skin, so it takes a while to absorb - fine by me for a night serum. (And it has been very gentle on my skin.)

(Subscribers will receive this unless they opted the Vitamin C Body Polish - one of my all time favorite products!)

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0015

100% Pure Maracuja Mascara in Black Tea - FULL SIZE! Value $25

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0016

I love the 100% Pure Blueberry mascara for a natural look mascara (it smells like blueberries), so I was excited to try this one. I am not a fan of the Black Tea scent on this one, but the formula itself is what I expected - it made my lashes very dark, and provided good length and lash separation. (This isn't going to be a high-impact big-volume mascara, but I like it for an easy every day look.)

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0013

100% Pure Bright Eyes Mask - Value $7

These eye masks are infused with organic aloe, organic matcha tea, and organic green coffee to help brighten and de-puff the skin under your eyes. Admittedly, I never see much of a difference in my skin after using these eye masks. (I have dark under eye circles, but no under eye bags.)

But, I can confirm that these are very refreshing.!(I recommend putting them in the fridge before using them for extra cooling!)

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0017

PureSol Bamboo Charcoal Konjac Cleansing Sponge - Value $13

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0018

I've tried konjac sponges before for my face, but this is my first body konjac sponge!

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0019

If you aren't familiar with these type of sponges, they arrive dry/stiff, then you wet them before use. When you're done, squeeze out the excess water and let it dry on the included hook.

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0020

It's a great tool for a very gentle exfoliation. I'm going to use this in place of my regular body scrubs when I'm wearing self tanner - it will keep my tan looking even without rubbing everything off!

Love-Goodly-March-2017-0008

Lastly, this box included a coupon card for $10 off your first order at Juice Served Here.

Verdict: This box has a value of about $120! I think that's fantastic for a $30 vegan lifestyle box! I'm biased for picking the One Love Organics product, but it's definitely my favorite item in the box!

What do you think of the April/May Love Goodly box?

(Also good to know - with each box and purchase, Love Goodly donates a portion of the proceeds to these charities).

This box really looks amazing! I wish we had a similar box here in Denmark!

Glad I stumbled upon this review. I am going to give the box a try in my attempt of purchasing only green beauty products. It is encouraging to read there are real people in customer service to contact as well.

Looks like this box is available as a stand alone purchase as their earth box for $35, plus an earth day tote. Tempted to get another!

Anna

That’s a great idea, worth it for the serum alone!

I’m very pleased with this! The serum made me resubscribe (thanks, Liz!) and I will use everything else in the box – that’s a win in my book! I’m very proud my myself for going spoiler free after the OLO spoiler!

The products speak for themselves and they are amazing! So, if I saw it on another site with someone who didn’t help curate the box (1 item), I’d still try it out. Thanks, Liz!!

I can’t wait to get my box! I usually don’t look at spoilers, but I couldn’t help this one. I will use everything! I wonder if the mascara will also help lashes grow quicker and fuller with all the amazing ingredients?

I had skipped the last box and forgot to skip this one. It just charged me yesterday, pretty excited about my mistake 🙂

I had been in the market for a new face serum, especially since wanting to switch to natural/organic skincare and I am so excited for this box! I am so excited to try the serum! I chose the mascara in brown and am looking forward to that as well. I read it smells a bit like chocolate 🙂

Suzanne

How did you select a mascara color? I just signed up and don’t see where to do it.

Michelle

You email them directly and a real person responds. Search for the spoiler, it has the email.

Anna

There was an email link in the spoiler post about the mascara. I just emailed and asked for brown rather than black.

What a fantastic box! If it’s still available I want it so bad. Every product is amazing. The konjac sponge is great and I go through those often. I also love One Love Organics. So indulgent! What a wonderfully curated box 🙂

Alex

Oooooh it looks like it is still available!!!

Yay, so excited I choose this box over a couple others I was considering that were a bit less. I really like the products and think I will use all of them. 😉

I realize you noted this in your review, but reviewing a box you helped curate is a bit of a conflict of interest.

Stefanie

How does this create a conflict of interest? Its very clearly noted…and she only chose 1 brand/item. Like the poster above me said, its your choice whether you want to buy the box or not. This box has been on my radar for a while, i may just jump on it now because every item looks great! And i wont lie, that serum is swaying me.

It’s a conflict of interest because she’s reviewing a box she helped curate. And yeah it’s in the disclaimer but it’s still a conflict of interest. It’s like if an actor reviewed his own movie, or an author reviewed her own book.

It’s Liz’s website and she can run it however she likes. But, there is an inherent bias in this review. Not just because she chose the brand but because it appears she has a working relationship with the company that makes this box. So this isn’t a review, it’s more like an advertisement. At least to me it makes the review less trustworthy.

Everyone is free to get the box if they want. It makes no difference to me one way or the other.

Laura

I don’t understand your point. What is a ‘bit’ of a conflict of interest? Liz chose one item and was clear about that in her previous spoiler as well. People can now decide to purchase (or not) based on the items and this full review lets us know what’s in the box. Regardless of any collaboration, the first two spoiler items alone convinced me to sub. The value now that I see everything included is outstanding!

Liz Cadman

Fair point. Since I didn’t pick out all the items, but just selected one of the brands for this box, I hadn’t originally thought of it that way, but I totally see your view.

I’ll add a note in bold to the beginning of the review to call it out more. Let me know if you have any other suggestions, and thank you for the feedback!

Oh my – this looks fantabulous! I’m glad I didn’t hesitate to sign up for Love Goodly (my very first one!) when I saw the spoiler #1. I’ve been meaning to get the body konjac sponge from Julep, but now I know I don’t have to! And, of course, super excited about the serum … Great job Liz 😍

Thank you for this awesome review, Liz! I like this box much more than my first one in Feb!

Yay!
I’m so excited to get this box! I pretty much signed up immediately after reading the OLO spoiler (thank you so much Liz! 😉 )
