Stamped Clay Ceramic Bowl Set from Suburban Cowgirl - Value $25.00
These dishes are so tiny and cute! The bigger one is only 3 and 1/4 inches in diameter, and the smaller one is 2 and a half.
They make great ring dishes or catch-alls for other tiny trinkets.
The bottoms are really cute, too. I like that these have a lovey-dovey sentiment, but they're not overtly "Valentine's Day," so you can use them year 'round.
Sweetheart Button Earrings by Vintage Ooak Designs - Value $5.95
These ice-blue fabric-wrapped earrings are each stamped with a metallic gold heart. They're a nice twist on the traditional Valentine's palette of pink and red.
I like that they're a little rustic. They're comfortable to wear, too. Not heavy at all.
H.L. Franklin's Wildflower Healthy Honey, 5.62 oz - Value $6.00
I LOVE honey. It's a go-to sweetener and a favorite condiment of mine. This honey is particularly rich and luxurious, with a subtle floral flavor.
This tiny jar is filled with raw, unprocessed honey, meaning you get all the health benefits the bees can offer. This card explains just what raw honey can do for the body.
Pocketful of Starlight Vanilla Sugar by Beautiful Briny Sea, 14 oz. - Value $15.00
What a fun product! I love the dreamy packaging and the pretty name. The vanilla flavor really does come through in the sugar crystals, which is a bit coarser than typical baking sugar.
Could you imagine this sugar rimming a glass of classic Southern lemonade? Mmm, mmm, mmm.
Verdict: I really loved the last Our Southern Hearts box, and I'm happy to say I was pleased with what I found this month, too! I found items this month a bit more traditional, whereas other boxes have had items that feature a fresher take on "Southern" style. The value was about $52.00, which is far over the $39.95 price. I will say, though, that most of that value comes from the handmade ceramic ring dishes. If I'm being picky, I'd probably have preferred slightly less expensive ring dishes and having that value reflected more in the earrings (which are adorable, but not as sophisticated-feeling as the other items in the box).
