I’m excited about next month’s surprise, the April Box is inspired and designed by Sara Douglas, the CEO of Stampin’ Up! And from the photo, it seems next month’s box will have a different look. Make sure to subscribe by April 10th to receive the April Box.
Paper Pumpkin has an informational leaflet every month with instructions and what is included in the kit. This month’s theme is “Bunny Buddies”. I made nine bunny treat bags with accompanying notecards and envelopes.
Here’s the bunny bag, I stuffed with tissue paper to give it a full look but you can add whatever spring or Easter treat you like. I love the added detail of the pom-pom bunny tail and the stickers I added to the inside flap of the bunny ears. My only complaint is when I had to stamp the treat bags I had to stamp the face in parts. It would have been easier to have a stamp with the whole bunny face. It some ways this could give you more creativity but in my opinion, it was cumbersome.
Here are the small note cards with envelopes, I stamped the front of the cards with a bunny face and the inside I stamped with Easter and spring greetings.
Verdict: This month’s Paper Pumpkin project is perfect for spring and it was super easy. Over the last few months, their craft box curation has been an actual “craft” project versus just making cards each month, which I am pleased with. Once again, this is a great value for $19.95. now I’m ready to find spring treats to fill my bunny bags. Also, every month there is a craft tutorial on You Tube, which is very helpful.
