This box comes with a card detailing the selected book for the month:
The Inexplicable Logic of My Life - Retail Value $17.99 (On Amazon for $10.58)
Book Summary from Amazon:
Sal used to know his place with his adoptive gay father, their loving Mexican American family, and his best friend, Samantha. But it’s senior year, and suddenly Sal is throwing punches, questioning everything, and realizing he no longer knows himself. If Sal’s not who he thought he was, who is he?
This humor-infused, warmly humane look at universal questions of belonging is a triumph.
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe has been on my reading list for a while, but since this is in hand, this will be my first book from Benjamin Alire Sáenz!
And each book is signed by the author!
Verdict: This subscription probably won't be for everyone, but if you value signed, first editions and love YA, I think this box would be great for you. So far, I've been very impressed with the books they select, too.
If you're considering this subscription, I recommend checking out their Instagram account to get a good sense of the types of YA books they send.
