Scentbird was "born out of frustration with the "perfume graveyard" - expensive bottles of designer perfume collecting dust on your dresser or cabinet - Scentbird was created to provide an alternative that is both practical and exciting." Scentbird sends out authentic perfume each month in smaller vials for you to try them out, or switch up your scent more often. When you subscribe to Scentbird, you'll get a $15.00 "credit" each month to buy a full sized bottle of cologne - this doesn't look like it is cumulative, and seems more like a member's discount.
Scentbird includes a twist up perfume atomizer with your first shipment. You can order additional atomizers on their website for an additional fee.

When you sign up, you fill out a survey to determine your scent preferences, and they recommend specific scents for you to try out. You add perfumes to your queue when you find one that you want to try which is how they choose what to send each month. If you don't choose one by the cut-off date, they will send you the scent of the month. Next month it is Maiaday by Raymond Matts.
This month, my next perfume in the line up was Histoires De Parfumes - 1969. It has notes of peach, chocolate, coffee, and white musk.
This scent is not entirely my scent style. It is very sweet, with underlying notes of musk. I would not be able to wear this often and think that I would find it cloying at times. With that said, it does have a pleasant smell and it did work well with my body chemistry.
Verdict: The value of my perfume this month comes out to $14 (based on Birchbox's 2 fl oz. size). This subscription is really dependent on which perfume you choose when it comes to value. I'm always happiest when I chose scents that I love versus scents that are expensive.
I love the size of these vials because they're perfect for travel or just to throw in your gym bag for a quick spritz when you need it. They're also cheaper than rollerballs, and I prefer spritzes anyway!
