Allure Beauty Box May 2017 Spoiler + $5 Coupon!

Yup, not at all mad I cancelled. I got some decent stuff but I can’t afford this, Ipsy, Sephora and to add BoxyCharm. BoxyCharm is the better value to me, and I’ll probably cancel Ipsy again.

I am really distrustful of Allure. Last year when they had their forneo debacle, they sent me an email “have five friends join and get a free box”, and every box was guaranteed to have the forneo. Well, lo and behold, I had five co-workers sign up, each and everyone of them was double billed, none of them received the forneo(except for me). I also never got my free box, after getting 5 people to sign up. I didn’t appreciate having to fight with customer service over double billing and not recieving items promised. Allure is awful.

Already getting May spoilers when I haven’t even received Aprils ( it shipped today) or I got the shipping notice anyway .Back to the May box ,I’m happy to try products from Drunk Elephant.And why would they ever send a full size? This is a sample box. Would it be great if they did ..well yes but I won’t hold my breath lol

I’ll be mad if I get that shadow pallette again. They already sent it to me once. I hope that’s wrong.

I’ve heard such good things about Drunk Elephant, but I’m not so thrilled about the sample size. I guess it depends on what else is in the box – maybe that toner they were going to put in last month?

May’s looks tempting, but then I remember how horrible their CS was and I’m no longer tempted to resub

I saw this box on Gilt City. $30 for three months but then they charge you $9.99 one time shipping so it’s pretty much the same deal as first box for $10. you do get the palette as well. You could come out ahead if you had a coupon for Gilt City.

I have yet to receive the April box and they already have the May Spoiler? I got the Gilt City deal today and cancelled my already existing subscription to take advantage of the deal. I thought their customer service would be good like the magazine but now I’m worried. I emailed to cancel and explained why I was and that I didn’t want duplicate boxes or to be charged for this months box as it had yet to even ship. Fingers crossed I get some good CS and don’t regret subscribing

I was pretty excited to see this until I realized it’s a sample only worth about $6.50 and not the full size. What happened to Allure sending out nice full sized items?? The last box I got from them that was actually better than any other beauty boxes for the month was the box with the Foreo Luna Play and that was a looooong time ago. They are very snooty when you contact their customer service as well and even if they advertise things like this May spoiler you’d better believe that they will charge you for a March, April, and May box instead of you only getting the May box you signed up for. No thanks Allure!

I’m excited about this spoiler too! I just wish it was bigger though. I can’t wait to see the rest of the box, as I’m hoping May will be amazing to make up for the last few so-so boxes.
