Candy Club is a candy subscription that sends 2-3 pounds of premier, brand name candy to you each month. Each delivery contains 4 different types of candy which you can choose yourself or leave as a surprise.
I’m subscribed to the custom box, which allows me to select my three main candies every month. (FYI- I’m able to choose three out of the four candies I receive in every box. The loose, individually-wrapped candies are always a surprise.)
My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

Each candy used to have its own information card with a photo of the candy, its name and on the reverse side nutritional information and an ingredients list. This month there was only a card for the loose surprise candy which was taffy this month. I’m not sure if they’re doing away with the nutrition cards (I was missing one last month as well) or if there was a mistake when my box was packed.
Albanese Milk Chocolate Cashews (buy a 1 lb. bag for $7.99 on Albanese)
I enjoyed these milk chocolate covered whole cashews. The nuts were large and had a sweet and buttery flavor. They were fresh and delicious.
Just Born Hot Tamales (buy a 4.5 lb. bag for $14.85 on Candy Warehouse)
Hot Tamales are one of my guilty pleasures. When I was pregnant I craved these and my friends supplied me with boxes. I love the spicy cinnamon kick and chewy texture.
Albanese Chocolate Powdered Praline Peanuts (buy a 1 lb. bag for $6.99 on Albanese)
Wow! If you like toffee, nuts, and chocolate you need to try these candies. They remind me of muddy buddies (puppy chow) based on the white powdered sugar outer coating. Inside they are crunchy, sweet and nutty. There is a thick layer of toffee surrounding a whole peanut. I could easily eat this whole container.
Sweet’s Cotton Candy Salt Water Taffy (buy 1 lb. for $3.75, 3 lbs. for $10.75, or 5 lbs. for $16.35 on Candy Nation)
Cotton Candy flavored taffy was the loose uncustomized candy this month. The taffy had a pale blue cotton candy color. It was firm and chewy, without being too sticky. The flavor was sweet and mild. I liked it a lot!
Candy Club Mint Tin
There was a surprise treat this month in my box. Candy Club included a small slide lid tin of mints. They were small with a bright peppermint flavor.
Verdict: I have to say what a treat it is having a box filled with brightly colored candy show up on the doorstep! I don’t know who was more excited to open the box, me or the kids. It’s hard to put a value on this subscription since gummy candy in bulk could be bought cheaper, but I found this comparable to what I would pay at the fancy loose candy shop at our local mall and much more convenient. This was my favorite month of Candy Club so far. Every single item I picked was a big hit and I even loved the surprise loose taffy.
