The box came with this full-color brochure featuring more information about the items and brands included in the box.
This adds so much to the subscription for me - it's great to read the stories and inspirations behind each product in the box.
Now, onto the items!
Altru Canvas Banner
This is the first item from CAUSEBOX's new home brand: Altru! It measures 14 by 17 inches.
This is a quality piece. The canvas is a heavy-duty material, and the embroidery work is impressive, too.
This banner was created with the design team at Trube Alive. Each letter was individually cut and sewn by artisans in Jaipur, India.
I love getting home items in boxes, and I appreciate this one is easy to hang and display! Plus I'm excited to see more home items from this brand in future boxes.
Sasa Designs by Far Fetched Mini Equator Studs - Value $28
These earrings come in a vibrant drawstring bag with mesh on one side, and this patterned fabric on the other side.
More about Sasa Designs:
Sasa Designs is a handmade lifestyle brand empowering and employing individuals regardless of physical ability or geographic location.
We started our work in 2011 exclusively with Deaf women in Kenya. As our original group's potential has grown, our brand is expanding to work with women and men across the globe who face exceptional physical or geographic challenges in accessing safe, secure and sustainable work.
These earrings were made via a partnership with Far Fetched, in Mexico.
These earrings are made of hammered brass and measure about 3/4 inches long.
I'm all about simple, gold jewelry, so these are perfect for me!
And these earrings came with a coupon for 20% off your first order at Sasa Designs.
Mud Love Ceramic Container - Value $20?
This handmade item was made exclusively for CAUSEBOX! It measures about 4 inches tall and 3.5 inches across.
Each Mud Love item has a maker's mark - signifying the artist that created it. And the MudLove stamp is on the bottom:
CAUSEBOX recommends using this as a vase, mug, toothbrush holder, storage container for your desk, etc.
I'm going to use it as a pen holder for my desk - I love the muted blue color, and I want it on display!
A little more about how Mud Love gives back:
Through our partnership with Water for Good, every product you purchase provides one week of clean water to someone in need. The Central African Republic is a country in desperate need of hope, love, and basic necessities. Access to safe, clean water has the power to transform communities and save lives.
And Mud Love included a coupon for 30% off your next Mud Love order!
Braid Tidy Up Room & Linen Spritzer - Value $20
This ingredient conscious room spray is a made with a blend of Lemon, Sweet Orange, Tangerine, Grapefruit and Lime Essential oils. So it smells AMAZING!
The only downside to me is that it's a light fragrance, so it doesn't linger as long as I wish it did.
More on how BRAID gives back:
For every product sold, BRAID gives to life changing supplies, mentorship and aid for homeless children. Our mission, #3CordCrew, focuses on giving back to a non-profit, Hope Supply Co., which aids homeless children. We believe it should always be more than a bottom line and that is the driving force of our purpose and passion.
And Braid included a coupon for 20% off all orders!
Banded Hair Ties - Value $7
Things I always seem to lose/things I'm always happy to see in subscription boxes: hair ties and lip balm!
And these colors are bright and perfect for Spring!
More on how Banded gives back:
Every BANDED product purchased provides 3 meals to a child in need through feeding programs located in Uganda, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
And Banded included a coupon for 25% off your next order:
This Bar Saves Lives - Value $2
For every bar sold, This Bar Saves Lives gives life-saving food to a child in need. Learn more about their cause and how they fight malnutrition here.
In addition to being a wonderful cause, this bar gets high taste testing ratings, too. My husband Eric love the mix of chocolate with sea salt!
Lili Arnold Print
Every season, CAUSEBOX sends out a new 5" X 7" art print from a different artist. For the welcome box, you also get this wood frame, to display your print. (Check out my review of the Welcome Box to see the frame.)
The Renewal Workshop $20 Coupon Code
Lastly, this box includes a coupon code to use at Renewal Workshop - a site that cleans and repairs "unsellable" inventory from top brands to prevent it from going in landfills.
Verdict: It's difficult to calculate a value for this box since there are so many exclusive items. I think $54.95 for this box seems like a great deal for all the products you get, and how they give back. (And it's even better for the $44.95 cost when you sign up with coupon code WELCOME10.)
This is one of those boxes that makes you feel good about every single item and the causes they support, and as an added bonus the value is great, too.
