This is my fourth month reviewing Chroma.Club and I always look forward to seeing the types of designs and artists featured each month. There are lots of different animals and other designs featured this month.

There's a lot of variety - Some of the illustrations reinforce simple positive messages, like the example above.

There are lots of illustration styles too - the paisley designs on this cat illustration have a cool vintage vibe.

The back of all of the pages shows more information about the artists included, which makes it easy to see more of their work if you're interested!

I like that this info is on the back of pages, so you can safely use markers or other wet media without risking bleeding onto a different design.

These blocky sort of drawings have been in the last few books but I actually haven't colored one yet - I really need to try this one soon!

For some reason, I woke up about 2 hours before my alarm this morning, so I figured I'd start my day off with some coffee and early AM coloring. I ended up picking a simple mandala pattern to start with and experimented with layering different shades of colored pencil.

It's far from perfect, but the whole exercise was about 30 minutes and I really did appreciate that it helped me clear my mind before I started my day.

Verdict: If you're interested in a creative bit of de-stressing each week, Chroma.Club might be something to check out; I usually use it as a tool to force myself to take small breaks during my day. There are always a few illustrations I really love, and a couple I don't care for, but overall I like the variety.

Value-wise, there is no denying that you could buy an adult coloring book for about the same price as this subscription - although with the HALFOFF coupon it's much more affordable. I like that this company supports independent artists, and it's a quick gift idea, too.
