The package came with an information card encouraging you to share on social media and also a little information about Dog’s Best Trend’s support of dog rescue efforts and this month’s designer (Snezana Grncaroska, who is a new designer for Dog’s Best Trend if I am not mistaken).
There was also this promo card for Nipyata!, which is a website where you can buy piñatas filled with miniature booze bottles.
Dog Scarf
Here is the scarf for this month. I like the vibrant colors – they’re great when you have a black dog – although I think it is a bit feminine (but then Nyx is female).
Some notes: (1) The material is polyester. (That’s why you still see a few wrinkles – I’m afraid to put an iron straight down on it because I don’t want to melt it.) And (2) this is, of course, the “large” dog scarf and the diagonal is plenty long enough even for a thick Rottweiler neck.
Here is Nyx with the scarf. My husband is kind of holding her in this position because she doesn’t understand posing for the camera (without a toy, anyway). I think she looks good!
Verdict: I did not calculate a value for Dog’s Best Trend. The designs are exclusive, which adds some value, and prices for similar items are all over the place at Etsy, with some costing up to twice as much. Plus, this is a subscription where you know exactly what you are getting every month; only the design is a surprise. If you like to put bandanas or scarves on your dog, this is a fun way to get new ones delivered to your door on a regular basis while also supporting dog-related charities.
