Elevita is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to helping artisans in developing countries find a global marketplace for their goods. What a noble purpose! That have had an online shop for some time now, but they recently started offering a subscription box!

Once again, everything arrived in this lovely cotton drawstring bag! Such a nice bonus!

This is the letter I received in my package. It goes into great detail about the items in my package, and especially the artisans who created them. It really helps make these items feel so special. This month's box focuses on their artisans in most need of support.

Brass Necklace, Kenya

Oh, I just adore this pretty necklace! It's made from tire wire and hammered brass! I feel like the jewelry artisans in Africa are doing such innovative things with recycled materials. This will definitely be a conversation piece!

Mini Hand-Painted Wooden Box, India

I love little trinket boxes like this one! It's so tiny and lovely. The purchase of these boxes helps a community in India afford school for their children. What a worthwhile cause!

Hand Painted Bird Cards, Tanzania

I actually received a set of these bird cards once before from Elevita, but it was quite a while ago. I don't mind the repeat at all! The recipients of these cards thought they were really amazing!

Verdict: Elevita is awesome! I really appreciate everything they do to help global artisans, and I love feeling like I'm a part of that. This month's items were all wins for me! I love the brass necklace! I don't have retail values for everything, but I think $30 for this box is a bargain.

What do you think of Elevita?
