This month's project is a Moss Bunny Wreath.

Each Home Made Luxe box comes with paper instructions, as well as a link to a video version of the how-to.

Here are the materials:

Homemade-luxe-march-2017-0013

two 6" wreaths, one 8" wreath, one 10" wreath

Moss

Glue Sticks

(FYI - these fit a mini glue gun, not the standard sized glue gun)

22 Gauge Wire

1.5" Teal Ribbon

And here is the finished project:

This was pretty easy to make. You bend the mini wreaths into ovals to form the ears, then use the wire to attach all wreaths together.

Then you hot glue the moss on, and add the bow.

This goes with all projects that involve a glue gun, but I still feel like saying it: be careful!

Also, post-project, this wreath sheds!

This box also included a bonus craft:

Mini eggs to put on top of the remaining moss.

Verdict: You can tell a lot of thought goes into Home Made Luxe. This project was easy to do and well-timed, too. (This box arrived early in March.) This wreath bunny wasn't a great fit for my decor style, but I shared it with a family member who loved it.

As far as the value goes, I think you could definitely get the items for less than $40 at Michaels. So, I would only recommend this box for subscribers who also see a value in getting a curated craft project each month.

I agree, no insult intended Liz, but that is’t a $40 bunny.

This box is already pushing it at $30, and then to charge another $10 for shipping? No thanks. I don’t see this DIY bunny being worth anywhere near $40.

Agree 100%. I like the idea behind the box, but for the price? Pass.
