I wanted to give Ipsy some props. On 4/24 I commented on here that I was frustrated because I was put on a wait list when I tried to sign up through the above link. I did write to them and asked them to remove me from the waitlist, and told them I thought there was no waitlist and I wanted the gift. I got a gracious response, was taken off the wait list and got confirmation that I am getting the gift. That was excellent customer service. Hope this helps others that may have been frustrated like I was.

I got it with a month to month sub. I got the email confirming the gift and a separate email confirming my subscription and here are a few highlights from the sub email showing that it does work for monthly subs:
Hi Tamara,
Congrats! You’re off the Waitlist! Your first Glam Bag will arrive soon. We’ll attempt to bill your card for this month if we have spaces left for this month’s bag. If we don’t have spaces left for this month, we’ll bill you on the 1st of next month. Once you’ve been billed, we’ll start prepping your first Glam Bag for shipment.

I wish they would bill me now for the new bag. I’m not sure if I’ll have extra money in the bank on the first for both bags. But I definitely could do it if they billed me for my new (or second) bag now then billed me on the first for my regular bag.

I got it through the link above. Used my 2nd email as this will be my 2nd Ipsy sub. Had to share to FB to get the gift and no waitlist so I did, then immediately delete from my FB page. Got the email saying I was getting the IT gift and was off the waitlist. Not sure what bag (April or May) I’m getting yet.

Aargh, I used Liz’s link and got thrown on the wait list. I sent them an email to remove me from that and also that I was told there is no waitlist right now and that they are advertising the gift. I asked them to clarify, but I don’t have high hopes. I got a generic reply that they are having”higher than normal” traffic, yada yada yada. What are incognito windows?

Oh, and after you fill out your profile and proceed to sign up, when it tells you to share on FB to get off the waitlist, just do it, and your subscription will become active immediately. I have a dummy FB account for commercial purposes like these, so I posted it there and sent a message to myself.

I just tried in Firefox – it works the same way if you select “open link in new private window”, but you may have to try it several times before the promotion actually shows up on the page.

If you use Google Chrome, right-click on the link and select “Open in incognito window”. Honestly that was the only way I could get that promotion to show up.

Okay, I’ve done it successfully (gift only available if you pay upfront for a year, btw) – you do receive a confirmation email afterward that you are getting the gift.

Would you receive confirmation of this? I signed up, and shockingly i had never been an ipsy member.. but i had been eyeing the pallete for purchase and this seemed like the cheapest way to get it! Anyway, i signed up- and just got an email saying i am on the waitlist- but no mention of the palette. 🙁
