Olesya Sandal - VIP Price $39.95 (regular price: $59.95)
I was immediately drawn to these platform sandals when discovering April's new arrivals. I love the retro flare of the cognac faux suede that compliments the wood platform heel. If a neutral shade isn't your favorite, these sandals also come in yellow faux suede, blue denim, along with black faux suede.
There's a lot of subtle but high-quality detail too, including brown topstitching and brass studs. And I also love the side cut-outs in the suede. I thought the wood heel be would better quality, but it's definitely faux, which also means this sandal is lightweight. The platform measures 1.5" and the heel measures 3.5", so this is the perfect heel height for me and I feel comfortable walking around!
For an evening out, I've paired the sandals with skinny denim and an oversized blouse. I finished the look with one of last month's JustFab picks - the Franz Fabric Clutch. I feel really confident wearing these sandals!
Here's a closer look at the details of the heel, suede, and studs while wearing them! They fit true to size and the back strap has an adjustable buckle closure.
And for a daytime event, I would pair these with a simple shirtdress and feel totally comfortable if I had a day of walking ahead of me.
Verdict: This is my first pair of shoes from JustFab and I'm happy with what I chose! They fit perfectly into my wardrobe and are good quality. For $39.95 (including free shipping), I received a pair of summer sandals that retail for $59.95, which I think is a great deal. Compared to other clothing boxes like Stitch Fix and Trunk Club, I am finding that despite the higher upfront out-of-pocket expense, I prefer to choose my items each month and find there's less risk with this subscription model.
