That Estée Lauder compact is $45. That’s actually a great deal for the number of points. I’m happy I saved my points to redeem.

I am really curious as to why ipsy recently overinflated the points. You only have a year before a point expires, but everything now takes so many points. Perhaps they should take the expiration date off the points. Let’s not go down the Birchbox path with alienating the customers now.
ipsy is one of the best subs ever – you get an amazing value for $10. And the points are just a bonus – they don’t owe us anything. But the recent inflation of the points required to redeem a small thing is not a positive. I hope they’re listening.

I suspect it was because so many were complaining about the rewards being swooped up too fast. By providing higher quality (and cost) samples the points shop isn’t always empty.
I also preferred it before but people will complain no matter what lol.

Agreed. I mean, would a regular subscriber who doesn’t buy other stuff from ipsy even earn 1,250 points in a year? If you are going to have a bonus, it shouldn’t be this sad…
