'47 Penguins Hocket Shirt - Value $28 (based on the pricetag)
The shirt in this chest is much better than the last - because it's from '47 - one of my favorite hockey brands!
While it's pretty basic - I'm a fan of the basic team tee - plus it's using the new, old, gold for the team. Perfect.
Fleece Throw - Value $20 on NHL.com
The big item in this month's Fanchest is a fleece throw.
This is a 50x60 inch fleece throw. It's really soft and cozy - and not overly thick, so you can use it even as it's getting warmer outside. Again, it's got the team's updated colors - and it's enough coverage for me and the dog - what more can you ask for?
Penguins Frosted Glass Mug - Value $10 on Fanatics
You'll also get a really nice frosted glass mug - especially useful in the playoffs when the pressure mounts.
It's a 16 oz glass mug. It's also got some weight, I think they've used some thicker glass - I love it.
Die-Cut Magnet - Value $7.25 on Amazon
You'll get a 3.5 x 4.5 inch magnet of the team logo with the updated colors. Perfect for the refrigerator - but I'm going to find a way to use it with the car!
Penguins Mini-Flashlight - Value $5-10?
You'll get a mini LED flashlight with the team colors and logo. Again, this is going into the car - you never know when you'll need a flashlight.
Penguins Mini Pennant - Value $3 based on similar pennants
The last item in the box is a mini pennant featuring the old Vegas gold colors. It's a little 4x9 pennant to hang in the room of your choice.
Verdict: My team buying goes off the radar during playoffs. Every year. I recently saw something while walking in the arena, and just immediately decided that I had to have it and bought it - so getting a box full of goodies is never a bad thing for me, especially right now! Not only that, the big ticket items are high-quality licensed items - I got about $78 of value for $59!
