FYI -The deadline to order the April 2017 Robb Vices box has been extended to April 7th! (Thanks for the heads up, Colleen!)

And in case you missed it, Robb Vices is increasing their subscription prices by approximately 25%.

If you are thinking about subscribing or gifting a Robb Vices subscription - sign up by 4/8 to be grandfathered into the current price ($74.95/month + shipping). All current subscribers will be automatically grandfathered in.

Sign up by 3/31 to get the April box which is "the most valuable collection of products and experiences we have curated to date."

Apparently after reading through the forum this morning, all boxes are 3.5 lbs. Apparently they get entered from Fed Ex with all these crazy weights, but then they should all change to the exact weight at some point. Kinda strange…maybe it’s part of the suspense. There are full spoilers and pics on the forum if you want to not be surprised. Also this is my first box…for those who are previous subscribers, why are they charging me already this morning for May’s box? I’m kinda not liking that considering I haven’t received April’s box yet. Seems like if that’s the case, there’s a huge time lapse in between charging and them shipping. Is that the norm? Thanks!!

This was my first too… and my understanding so far is that this month was shipped well after the norm because, from what they said on FB, they extended the window before raising the prices, and then came up with more stuff to add to April’s boxes. I believe going forward, we’ll get charged on the 25th of each month and then get shipping notification in the 2nd week of the following month, so we *should* have future boxes before being charged for the next. I was disappointed that was not the case this time around, especially considering as a new customer it’s not great to have paid for 2 before even receiving the first, but I have faith that it’ll be smoother going forward.

I got shipping notification this morning, and the box is weighing in at 46.2 pounds. WHA???? I am so excited…..and intrigued!!

There are spoilers officially in the forum! Can’t wait to read Liz’s review and hopefully see this in a better light before my box actually arrives. All boxes are apparently 9.7LBS

Did anyone get tracking yet for April yet? I thought they usually ship during the 2nd week of the month. I’m dying of suspense!

I got an email saying they were going to start shipping out this week. They said on Facebook that this month shipment was delayed because they had extended the deadline for april boxes while they had the old prices up for an extra week.

Welp, this was enough to tip me over the edge. I even signed up for the 6-month subscription using the MSA promo code despite the fact that no one seems to have ever received their promo gift. I am perhaps too trusting.

After I ordered I received an email saying “your journey will commence next month,” by which I positive they mean that my journey will commence this month 🙂 Fingers crossed.

I did receive my free gift at the end of my sub period. I even emailed and asked them not to send alcohol for the gift and they sent me a speaker. I was happy. I have had good customer service. (Just throwing out my experience to the table discussion.)

Was the speaker something you hadn’t received before? Was it in the next/upcoming box? Just wondering, because if I subscribe for 6-12 months, will their free gift AT THE END be something leftover from a box I already received?

I’ve seen a couple of people receive it but they send it to them after the six months or one year ends and some people have had to email to get it.

I know I am one of the few who think this but I kinda like that they don’t do spoilers. I think that their past boxes speak for the quality of the items the boxes will contain. I like that each month I’m always excited to get my RV box and I feel like if they did a spoiler and I didn’t like the item it would bring my excitement down a bit. I’m glad I am grandfathered into this pricing because I plan on renewing my yearly subscription.

with a box this pricey, i can’t consider without a spoiler. last month’s theme of spicy hot items would’ve been a huge miss for me, as i can’t tolerate spicy anything.

I am tempted to subscribe for this April box since it would be “as much value as the cost of a full year membership.” (from an email they sent me) Hmm… that means it would be $720 of value. Any guess what the box could be? I hope they don’t count coupons or vouchers…

Is there an option to skip? I only see auto-renew or cancel, and I fear that cancelling for a month would lock me out of this pricing.

I’m so looking forward to my first box but with the push for more customers kinda worried how they’ll handle the influx. Fabfitfun definitely had issues this season when their customer based shot up in numbers.

I said I wasn’t going to but after following this box and being so envious of every one who had the box, then seeing the price increase I finally broke and bought a 3 month subscription. Sigh… I must be stronger next time!

I like surprises, but I really wish RV would break tradition just once and provide some inkling about what is going to be in this high value box. If I knew, I might purchase a couple more boxes to break up as gifts throughout the year. That’s too expensive a risk to make without spoilers, so I’ll be sticking with my one sub.

I know! So tempted to buy a second sub for gifts. Last month was my first month of this sub and I cannot tolerate spices and gave the spicy liquor to my MIL, so would have been mad had I purchased 2 boxes. However, I am making chili tonight for dinner and put some of the spice in there and it tasted good. I had to add some Ghirardelli dark cacao to it though to balance out the spice 🙂 I would sub all year if they would give ONE hint of the theme or ONE spoiler before purchasing. They are losing a TON of customers by not doing that, due to the higher cost of the box, cannot continue to purchase without something of that sort. This month and last month was the only time I will, so we shall see…. Hopefully they will get the hint that they could at least double or triple their subscribers with a hint of information before actually purchasing….. Like Rachel Zoe or Adidas, etc…… JMHO 🙂
