April was based on Retro franchises - it featured The Twilight Zone, Kong, Labyrinth and more!
Each month you'll receive a booklet with interviews and short stories, plus info about every item in the box.
King Kong Shirt - Value $15?
This month's exclusive shirt features the classic King Kong character. Very cool design with the inlay of Kong on the Empire State Building.
Dr. Bernardi Figure - Value $13 on Amazon
The Twilight Zone was represented with an old school figure! You'd receive 1 of a possible 11 figures.
At first glance, I had just assumed this was a Funko ReAction figure - instead, these are made by Bif Bang Pow.
They're limited edition, too!
I got Dr. Bernardi from the 'Eye of the Beholder' episode. The Twilight Zone was, and still is, a favorite of my mom - so I'm familiar with many many episodes and am loving these figures - I might have to buy a Henry Bemis figure!
Star Trek: The original Series Vintage Shot Glass 4-Pack - Value $11 on Amazon
You'll receive a set of 4 shot glasses feature vintage-inspired art from Star Trek - there are 20 possible sets to receive!
Here is my set - how great is this artwork? What 4 glasses did you get?
Metrobot Pin - Value $5?
You'll receive a Metrobot pin from the 1927 movie Metropolis. A fun surprise to see this included.
Labyrinth: 30th Anniversary Special Book - Value $4.99 + Exclusive Variant Cover
They've included a 30th Anniversary Labyrinth comic with an exclusive variant cover.
It features a bunch of short stories revolving around Hoggle, Ludo, Didymus, and Ambrosius - it's a fun read for fans of the movie!
Dune: Arrakis Art Print - Value $10?
Dune has made an appearance in a box!
This print is inspired by the movie's poster - it has some really cool embossed effects - it's more of the better art prints I've received in a box!
Verdict: This was a fun retro-themed box for Sci-Fan Block! It spanned a lot of periods, films, and shows - but I think it all tied nicely together. My favorite item is the Twilight Zone action figure - it was a real nostalgic kick for me and may be my next collection!
