Promesa Hello Summer Shirt – Value $25?
(60% Cotton; 40% Modal; Hand Wash Cold, Hang to Dry)
This lightweight shirt has two cut out details by the neckline that add some interest. I wish they were symmetrical though. One is higher up by my neck and the other is lower by my clavicle. I like the long length of this shirt. It could be worn as a cover-up at the pool or with leggings/skinny jeans. The seeds on the watermelon are tiny hearts, so cute!
Color Bear Pool Hair Cover-Up – Value $35?
(95% Rayon, 5% Spandex; Hand Wash Cold, Hang to Dry)
I like this cute cover-up a lot, but I’m not sure if it’s too youthful for me to carry it off or not. I like the navy blue color and white thick font. The fabric is soft and slinky and the spandex gives it a nice bit of stretch. I’m 5’ 7’’ and this cover-up hits at right about my knees which is ideal for me so I feel like I’m not hanging out in places I prefer to be covered.
Round Towel - $25?
What a beautiful, tropical design on this round fringed towel. It is 30% cotton and 70% viscose so it doesn’t have that absorbency I want in a towel at the pool for drying off, but is great for a towel to sit on at the beach, for picnics or movie under the stars nights at the local park. I know these round shape towels are very trendy right now and I don’t own one yet so I was excited to receive this in my box. I think it fits the theme well too!
Sic Water Bottle - $29.99
This is a hardcore water bottle in a beautiful color! The Sic water bottle is copper lined for temperature retention, i.e. your water is staying cold in this bottle for 24 hours. They will also keep your hot beverages warm for up to 12 hours. The carabiner lid makes it easy to attach to your bag or backpack. The bottle comes in 12 powder coated colors and holds 27 ounces. It is made from stainless steel and has a BPA free lid. The opening is much larger than a S’well bottle which I like because it makes easier to clean and add cut up fruits to flavor your water. I’m loving this bottle, I just wish it was dishwasher safe.
Aviator Glasses – Value $20?
I needed a new pair of glasses to keep in my pool bag and this pair is perfect. Most glasses look too large on my face, but these don’t overwhelm my features. I like the classic gold aviator style and was happy to see Citrus Hill also sent a case to keep them protected.
Wrap Sunglass Case – Value $4.00?
This simple black case is perfect to hold the aviator glasses. Just slip the glasses in and wrap the cord around and tuck it under. It’s not too bulky to keep in my bag and will prevent my glasses from getting scratched.
Verdict: This was my first Citrus Hill Clothing Mystery Box and I thought it was a ton of fun to unbox and had great value as well. The box value with my estimations is about $139. This is well over the cost of the box. I thought the clothing was comfortable and on trend. Both the shirt and cover-up were made in the USA. The water bottle and sunglasses were my two favorite items in the box, but everything will be used. I found that the clothing ran true to size (I ordered large because I was afraid of mediums running too small on me). One thing to note: the items don’t come with hangtags so if you plan on gifting items that don’t work for you or fit this is something to keep in mind. I can’t wait to see what their next theme will be!
