Verdict: My values come to around $36 of blind bag toys - that's a good value for the $20 price tag. There are premium subscriptions where you can customize some themes and brands of toys - which is probably better for a single kid.

I used to absolutely love this subscription box however in June I stopped receiving the boxes when we normally did. Emails sent would go unanswered for weeks. I finally received my July box with promises of August in just a few weeks. Same issue as another reviewer mentioned, I would receive a tracking number but it never actually shipped. Eggdrop then sent out a random email in Mid-August stating that they were closing the business effective immediately. Hate to see a business close. My problem now is that I had paid for a year subscription in April and only received boxes through July. I’ve sent several emails to the company with no response at all. I went to the site today and it makes no mention of them closing and there’s even still the ability to purchase boxes!! Not sure what’s going on here, but I’m thinking I’m out a lot of money. I wouldn’t sign-up for this subscription until it’s clear whether or not they are going to stay in business.

Same with me. I got an email saying I would get a refund and never did. I paid for a year and got four boxes.

This service is absolutely horrible! They do not respond to email when you have a problem and there is no phone number listed. I feel at this point this is one big scam! They constantly issue fake tracking numbers making you think you monthly box is on the way but they tracking numbers never get activated. If anyone knows a way other than email to contact this company I would love to know. I can’t even report them to the better business bureau as there is no information even about their address. They have false information on their website which says their boxes are shipped the 10th of every month and you receive your box within a few days. Even in the past when I received my box it was never that early in the month. I have emails where they generated fake tracking numbers around the 20th of the month. Meanwhile I have a daughter asking me everyday if I have heard anything about her eggdrop box. What an awful company to do business with and they make you pay for your subscription up front. Now I know why! A huge scam! These owners should be ashamed.

Do they have a girl/boy option? My daughter wouldn’t be interested in the first 3 toys but is obsessed with blind bags and would really like this!
