Elevita is a 100% volunteer organization dedicated to helping artisans in developing countries find a global marketplace for their goods. What a noble purpose! That have had an online shop for some time now, but they recently started offering a subscription box!

Once again, everything arrived in this lovely cotton drawstring bag! Such a nice bonus!

This is the letter I received in my package. It goes into great detail about the items in my package, and especially the artisans who created them. It really helps make these items feel so special. This month's box focuses on their artisans in most need of support.

Wallet, Cambodia

This wallet is just gorgeous, and it has my #1 requirement of any wallet: a zipper pocket for change! It was made by a disabled single mom of two sons. Having two sons myself, it means a lot to me that Elevita is helping her in this way. She is amazing!

Double Drop Earrings from Pearls with Purpose (China, India, or Cambodia)

These pearl earrings are just gorgeous, and I am loving pearls this spring! They go really well with spring fashion, I think. Pearls with Purpose is an organization that promotes self-reliance through micro-enterprise in the aforementioned countries. That's wonderful!

Wooden Spatula, Philippines

This wooden spatula was hand carved by a man in the Philippines to help support his family of ten children. That's a huge financial responsibility! It's a pretty lightweight spatula, but it is nice and sturdy, and it gets the job done!

Verdict: Elevita is awesome! I really appreciate everything they do to help global artisans, and I love feeling like I'm a part of that. This month's items were all wins for me! Of course, I love the earrings the most! I am a sucker for beautiful jewelry, especially pieces that were made by global artisans. I don't have retail values for everything, but I think $30 for this box is a bargain. The earrings alone are worth $30!

What do you think of Elevita?

The wallet and earrings are beautiful. I actually purchased the pearl bracelet from Elevita a few weeks ago so these earrings will go great with that. The only bummer is the spatula. I kind of wish it wasn’t so ordinary looking. But, like you said, it’ll be fine as long as it gets the job done. And as always, it’s nice to support hardworking artisans. Looking forward to receiving my box!
