MissionCute recently started offering a mini box subscription, in addition to their regular box. The regular box is now called their “deluxe box.”

This box was sent to us for review purposes. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

This review is of the MissionCute Deluxe, $39 a month, box.

The MissionCute Deluxe box includes an info card listing each item and its value.

The back of the card shares a bit about this month's charity, which is called Goats of Anarchy. The organization apparently helps rescue and rehab goats with special needs. Cute!

Happiness Is Handmade Tote - Listed Value $14.00

This tote is made from thin canvas and features a cute phrase on the front. According to the info card, the tote is a MissionCute exclusive—they price it at $14.00, but I've noticed similar designs for a few dollars less.

It's really cute, and perfect for shopping at a local handmade boutique. But I do feel like the quality of the bag (with its lightweight fabric and loose threads) is closer to $10.00 than $14.00.

Zaaina Skincare Grapefruit and Calendula Soap, 4.5 oz. - Listed Value $7.95

Ooo, I really like the scent of this soap. It's fresh and slightly sweet, like grapefruit, but tempered by an oatmeal-like aroma.

I hate when my skin feels parched after washing it, so I'm thrilled that this soap is made with olive and coconut oil. It makes for a smoother, softer lather and a more nourished feeling after I use it. I couldn't find this exact soap online, but similar items are around $9.00—the info card only valued it at $7.95.

Druzy Bar Necklace by Moe + Co. - Listed Value $28.00

I couldn't find this item (nor the brand) online, but I think the listed value seems just slightly high. (I was able to find a few really similar pieces for a few dollars less on Etsy.)

I love the color combination of purple and gold! The crystal looks almost like colored sugar piled into a rectangular gold pendant (which is around 2 inches long). I like that this pendant is a bit boho and a bit modern minimalist all at once.

#Shopping List Pad by Donovan Designs - Value $6.00

I've never met a notepad I didn't like! I'm always scribbling down little to-do lists and so forth, so this pad will definitely find a home on my desk. The "#Shopping" sentiment isn't exactly me, but it's a cute prompt for when I'm headed to the grocery store or need to refresh my wardrobe.

There are 50 sheets in the pad. I think the pink brushstroke lines are really pretty (and help keep my handwriting from being too messy)!

Kindness 5x7 Graphic Print - Listed Value $9

I like this sentiment, though I had to look up the person who said it (apparently, he's the President of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints). MissionCute always includes a print like this in the box, and my concern is always the same—the list price just seems a little high for what's essentially just a matte design on notecard-weight paper. It's cute, but it seems a bit overpriced. I'd recommend framing it to give it a little more impact!

Verdict: This MissionCute box was cute, though I do worry that the values they list for the products are a little high. The box is $39.00 (with free shipping), but according to the prices on the info card, the value inside is about $64.95. Seems a little high, but I will say that the necklace and the tote are super cute. I'll probably get some good use out of most everything in the box, and I do like knowing that some of my money is heading to a good cause!

I’ve been a mission cute subscriber for over a year now and haven’t been disappointed. Sure, some of the values are a bit high, but I feel good that a portion of the proceeds go to an organization in need! Not lining the pockets of CEOs like most other sub boxes

Seems like it should be more of a 25-29ish dollar box. I agree.
