Exciting news!

MSA Insiders is a new program connecting the My Subscription Addiction community to subscription box companies. Members will get exclusive benefits, like voting on upcoming box contents, hearing about new boxes before they launch, and more.

If you've ever wanted to help influence future subscription boxes, this is for you!

To join the MSA Insiders team, just fill out the survey below to register. (It doesn't matter if you are a subscription box addict, or just starting out on your first box - we want to hear from everyone.)

And we really want to make your feedback count. This means that we will share some statistics and quotes from these responses with subscription box companies, but rest assured we will never share raw data, and we will never share your personally identifiable information such as name or e-mail address.

By filling out this profile and survey, you are opting in to be contacted by MSA about future polls, surveys, and other exclusive events. You must be at least 18 years old to participate. For information on MSA's Privacy Policy, click here.

Can’t access survey.

What was the MSA Insiders deal for Vine-Oh?

Reply ButtonReply

Liz

The survey won’t work for me either 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Judy

I really want to take this survey but unable to. The page wigs out the second I try and enter my email. I’m on a mobile iPhone.

Leslie Belt

I have done this survey 2 times? I make it to the page that asks how much I pay per box on this page, I think the last time I made it further? I’m also using iPad as it seems others are? Hoping you got some of my info?

A Nicolas Cage box could help him liquidate some of his weird collections!

Also, David Lynch and Bryan Fuller need to get into box curation. That could be very cool.

As usual, inspiration strikes after I hit “Submit.” 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I think if I got a David Lynch box, I’d be so confused on what’s in it. 😉

Reply ButtonReply

Kathleen

I proposed Tim Gunn as a curator. 🙂

Thinking back, I would have added a filmmaker like Guillermo del Toro or Werner Herzog for some guaranteed weirdness/film-oriented boxes! Also, an American Test Kitchens box could be great.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

An America’s Test Kitchen box *would* be awesome!!! I also think a Williams Sonoma or Sur la Table box would be pretty cool too. Awww, now I’m thinking of all these cool chefs who should be curators.

Reply ButtonReply

Connie

I hit forward when it dawned on me, i would love a box curated by Blake Lively. I couldn’t hit the back button.

Reply ButtonReply

Melanie

I SAID BLAKE TOO!!!

Reply ButtonReply

K

Sadly this is IMPOSSIBLE W/formatting to do on my iPad 🙁 maybe I’ll turn in my laptop for the first time in months to try.

Reply ButtonReply

Amy

I should have said I’d like Liz to curate a box!

Reply ButtonReply

Angeline

Great idea!

Reply ButtonReply

Khaleesi

Agreed. This should’ve been my suggestion/comment on my survey.

Liz has a good idea on what we most generally want in terms of value, curation and trends in the different categories, beauty, food, lifestyle, etc. I’ve only see you curate one since I joined, and I was sorry I missed it. 😿

I would LOVE to see a lifestyle box curated by Target or Walmart, items that are not luxe, obviously, but you’d get more items in than in a luxe box.

I wish there were more “showroom” boxes. Julep was my very first box, and I thought that was the norm. I would buy a lot more boxes (oops, sorry budget!) if I could choose at least a few of the items. Even personalized or customized.

Reply ButtonReply

Kay

Great idea! Target has nice lifestyle products.

Reply ButtonReply

Joss

This was really fun, and I hope you do it again soon! I do wish there were more geeky options for the choices. I’m a huge geek sub box fan!

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

I keep hitting the submit button but nothing happens. Does it say anything after submit like done, just want to make sure it went through.

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

After hitting “Submit” I’m pretty sure it switched to a Thank You screen or something like that… but, something did happen after hitting it.

Reply ButtonReply

Danielle

Thanks, it wouldn’t work on my tablet but went through on my laptop.

Julie

I have the same issue. =/

CreativelySwank

Woohoo! I asked for more mascara, clothing to fit runway models, beach waves spray, blue clutches, body lotion, and books. I prefer these things to all be covered in tassels and pom poms. Thank you for listening to my wishes.
I jest. 😉

Cyndi Lauper I think would be such an awesome curator. Snoop Dogg did a box once for 420, I could go for that again. I also would love to see an Anthropologie or Urban Outfitters box. So many possibilities with those stores.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

I listed Anthropologie too!

😍

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Oooh, good call on Anthropologie & Urban Outfitters. I frequent those stores during their sales, but really just for their beauty product offerings.

I forgot to add, that it’d be cool if Whole Foods could do a sub box. Maybe they could do two like Vegan Cuts… one for snacks and the other for beauty.

Reply ButtonReply

Meg

When I took the survey I forgot to mention that the ideal sub box would be the Bespoke box model but for women. In my mind this is the perfect type of sub box – you have options each month and if nothing suits you or it’s not in the budget you can simply skip the month and not be charged. The price point at $49 is reasonable and Bespoke offers so many great options – some are practical, useful items you might actually be shopping for and some are just for fun splurges. I wonder why no one has offered something similar for women?

Emm

Brilliant! I wish I had thought of that. I hope that becomes a thing in the future.

Reply ButtonReply

Kathryn

Great survey, would love to contribute more! If you are puzzled about my responses – I’m from Australia so I listed a local TV celebrity to curate a box (she’s an awesome interior designer) and the business is an accessory store where I spend way too much money/time!

Reply ButtonReply

Heather

That was kinda fun! I couldn’t think of a celebrity curator, but I just did — man, if Martha Stewart had a box, I would be all over that.

Reply ButtonReply

Mary K

I said Kate Middleton…. as if! 😀

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

I picked Caroline Hirons. I would *love, love, love* a skincare sub box from her.

Reply ButtonReply

Kristy

I picked her! Love her!!

Reply ButtonReply

Dea

“The jail edition”.

Valene

I’m excited. I really like this. Thank you!

Reply ButtonReply

Angeline

That was fun! I had to answer for my most recent subscription as I’ve actually just ended it, but hopefully it’s useful info anyway.

One thing I wish had been asked and that I think about a lot when reading reviews: what we’d rather NOT receive. You know how there are times when it feels like every other box is doing travel mugs, or those flat plastic water bottles? I guess it’s inescapable that there are trends in box items, but it seems worth thinking about, if any box curators are reading!

Reply ButtonReply

Melanie

I said the same thing! enough with the scarves, totes, water bottles, mugs, etc. Give me something I don’t already have but need! Like a new kitchen spatula or utensil, a nice set of pens or stationery, a tech gadget for my car, something cool (bag related) like a baggu bag for produce at the grocery store, heck even something cool for travel. Something that isn’t so basic and boring.

Reply ButtonReply

Starla

That was fun!
I realize now I should have put down Cher to curate a box but didn’t think of it at the time. Not that she would. But soooo interesting if she did!

Reply ButtonReply

Betty

I put Cher haha. She was the first person that came to my mind.

Reply ButtonReply

Melanie

This is exciting! I go back and forth from being subbed to many boxes at once to not subbing to any at all, currently I’m on a break from boxes at the moment (being a senior in college will do that to you) but I am on this website every day making mental notes for my next boxes and of course all of my favorite reviewers! I look forward to this opportunity, great way to reach out!

Reply ButtonReply

Heathery

This made me realize I really don’t care for beauty subs anymore lol.

Reply ButtonReply

Ragan

I have canceled all of mine but Julep (except the ones I review for MSA). I think I’m just over beauty items, in general (and trying to use my stash).

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Haha… it made me realize how much I’m not into lifestyle/clothing/accessory boxes. At the end where I had to pick three clothing/accessory and lifestyle products, I was looking for a “None” button, but on the beauty side I wanted to pick more options!

Reply ButtonReply

VeronicaLM

Just took the survey and am excited to see what’s in store! I’d love to contribute to MSA and be an insider! What an excellent, brilliant and exciting opportunity

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

My answers were slightly skewed on those questions with the word “currently” in them since I’m going on a sub box sabbatical for the summer. For example, I did answer how many I’m *currently* subscribed to, but that is in no way reflective on how many I’m subscribed to on average.

Reply ButtonReply

Randi

well that was fun! and a bit eye-opening thinking about what you really want and like (and a bit scary when thinking about the $$ part 😉 )
