Kitty Club Blind Bag - Value $3.95
This is so cute and the hat is a fun addition! Cira loves it and Cloe the Kitty was added to our Littlest Pet Shop collection.
Zomben Comic - Value $3.99
My little girl is getting so big! This was the first thing she picked up from the box and she didn’t put it down until she was finished. I’d say she liked it. This was just released at the end of April too! Here’s the description:
After surviving the 'Multipocalypse', Ben tries to live a normal life, hiding the fact that he is infected with a zombie plague. His new friends have just found out ... and they think it's kind of cool. Together, they'll face killer robots, missing moms and the threat of new apocalypses. Plural.
National Geographic Kids Magazine - $4.99 (single issue)
My daughter loves getting this magazine in her box each month. This month she talked about what she the “Extreme Weirdness from Around the World.” There were a great lion poster and some cool inserts this month too.
Heart Alarm Clock - Value $9.99?
We’ve been looking at alarm clocks for our daughter lately so we’re happy to receive this item. It’s definitely on the cheaper side and it is not intuitive to set but it’s a good start and Cira really liked it. I can’t find this clock online so the price is a guess.
Carebears Cheeseburger I Love You ShirtPunch! T-shirt - Value $15.00?
Okay, this is just funny and cute too. I like it, Cira likes it – we’re happy with this shirt.
Disney Princess Jewelry Set - Value $7.99?
I couldn’t find an exact match for the set I received (except on Amazon for almost $30) but the $7.99 set at Walmart is a better match in price for the quality. It must be difficult to send toys for the 6-11-year-old age group but my daughter is almost 8 now and Disney is out for us. We’ll gift this one.
Verdict: My daughter really looks forward to getting Nerd Block Junior for Girls but I’m kind of on the fence about it. My daughter loves getting new toys but typically there is at least one item that either is defective or completely not usable for us. This month was better than the last few for us because Cira liked most items in the box. Although we like the t-shirt, I wish Nerd Block Jr. (and ShirtPunch) would separate the sizing by gender so it would fit better.
This box $19.95 plus $9.95 shipping which seems high for a t-shirt and a couple toys my daughter likes each month but there is also at least one gift item for current or future use. The monetary value is usually pretty high but it isn’t good if you only use/like a couple items each month. The May Nerd Block Junior for Girls included $45.91 worth of toys for a $30.00 box (includes shipping cost).
