If you haven’t already used your points on that lipstick…id say don’t! Unless the ones from glossybox were just BAD? I got three of those in three dif boxes, everyone of them fell apart, were dry and yucky. Either Glossybox had REALLY OLD BAD product, or that lipstick formula is terrible? (If the issue is GLOSSYBOX, shame on them because I’m warning you NOT to choose this lipstick because of the 3 tubes I’ve recieved. Of course glossybox has NEVER not once given a care about ANY BROKEN OR LEAKING items, so why bother over dried out gross lipstick times 3?)

If you did already use your points and you (or anyone else) and find this lipstick to not be dry and gross, please let me know, so I will know the opinion I formed was a Glossybox issue and not the manufacturer. As we’ve recently figured out lots of these companies are sending us expired product. But, I worked for Lancome & Estee Lauder I started working there 18 years ago, I quit about 15-16 years ago, I still have TONS of testers and returns and gratis I got from those days. TONS OF IT….my hubby got sick of it so he took it to our garage probably 12 years ago (YES I KNOW, OMG 🙄) we just recently cleaned out our garage, so needless to say, I was reunited with a TON of old Estée Lauder and Lancome colors I forgot even existed, THOSE LIPSTICKS THAT HAVE ENDURED HOT HOT HOT HUMID 110 plus degrees and BITTER COLD winters with LOADS OF SNOW AND ICE…those lipsticks are all FINE! So, if glossybox is sending out lipstick that is SO OLD that it broke upon the first attempt at application…HOW OLD IS IT? (I WOULD NOT suggest leaving creams and moisturizers in the garage all those years, however, there are MANY I will still use, some will go in the trash!)

Stacey

Are you sure that’s ipsy? Are you in Canada? Something isn’t right because ipsy is definitely only $10.

Wow, one of those tiny cardboard samples for 350 points?! yeah, right!!!

Stacey

It’s free and you aren’t required to use the points.

I get that, but if they’re going to advertise the rewards a big part of their subscription model, they should make that aspect a lot more appealing!

Ash, I have to agree. Unless you recruit a new member, the points are stingy. If I write a full review on a sub box, it’s the big 10 points? A good review is time and effort. My time is more valuable than that. Not worth my time to create their marketing buzz.

It’s 15 points per item so you get get up to 75 points every month for reviewing. It’s super easy with their new review set up.

Agreed. Their point system is horrible. I don’t get how they decide how many points something costs, considering a $46 Hourglass Vanish stick was 1,000 pts but a cheap $6 face mask is 500… And the expiration is stupid too. Its like a constant rotation of points every month I get 50 and 50 expire.. if they are going to make them expire then they should have more of a selection, more stock of it and better consistency in “price”..

That said, the actual bag contents the last few months has been GREAT! And so has customer service 🙂
