Instead, it's 3 beauty boxes (Oprah partnered with GlossyBox for these), a print and digital subscription to O Magazine, and a print subscription to gift for $99.
Check out my reviews of Oprah's Circle of Friends to see what they sent in the past. (Spoiler alert - I think it is a good thing they got rid of the surprise gift and testing and keeping products - that didn't work well.) Definitely look at reviews before signing up!

I ordered the O Circle of Friends in June. Big Mistake! I took forever to get someone to email me back in August to tell me why I hadn’t received not even one magazine. I didn’t get a card for my birthday either. They had not excuse. The next week I received my first magazine. Now it is mid November and I emailed them to asked if I was ever going to get any of the 3 boxes I paid for. They emailed me back and told me my welcome box should arrive by January. It makes no since. I’m thinking of calling the BBB.

I can’t believe they are reviving this embarrassment! Three Glossyboxes of overstocked items and a couple subs to her magazine for $100??

I know, right? She used to give away cars and washer/dryer sets and now it’s $99 for a print sub and THREE boxes? Oprah has fallen on hard times!

Sounds like the same thing they offered last time- only marketed correctly now. Lol. NO THANKS

Hahahah! I received my offer for the Circle of Friends subscription in the mail yesterday (I already get Oprah magazine for like $12 a year) and checked Liz’s site to see if she had reviewed it, and of course she had. Oprah won’t trick me into this subscription!

Well, at least you received SOMETHING! I subscribed in May and here it is July and have absolutely nothing to show for my $129!!

I think the product’s will be similar to what those of us who subscribe to Glossybox receive or may be similar or possibly duplicated.

I doubt it is fair but I am being honest when I say I am sick of Oprah and her lofty opinion in all things Oprah. I wouldn’t buy just because her name is attached.

Oprah? Who is Oprah?

Hahahahaha. No.

Seems to be inflated just because of the ‘Oprah’ name. My mom gets her magazine for free through some site she earns points on. I’m not big on magazines anyhow. I’d prefer items from her book club or some special Oprah treats. lol

Yeah, what’s to say that these boxes won’t include leftovers from GlossyBox too?
These days when you can get magazine subscriptions, including Oprah’s, for less than $10 a year, the prices they give are incredibly inflated.

Hmmm, so essentially it’s $33 a box (plus her magazine, but I consider that kind of a freebie). In other words, $33 for a glossy box. That’s a big gamble. I’m assuming the boxes would be more like their special edition boxes and not the monthly ones (which have gone soooooooooo far downhill) but who knows. I know people got really burned on her first sub box so who’s to say that this one will be any better. I think people assumed that because Oprah put her name on it it had to be great, but that couldn’t have been farther from the truth.
I think the company would be well served if they put out spoilers for the first box considering how misled people felt after Oprah’s first brush with the sub box world. Buying this blindly could be a big fat disappointment.

I think they posted the welcome box on the website in the photo. It’s the 2 additional seasonal boxes that are mysteries (I think).

Oh man…I think you’re right. Then that is not a very enticing spoiler. The “big” item is that Simply Venom, which they sell on HSN.
I did a little sleuthing on Simply Venom and I’m not impressed. The reviews on HSN seem very suspicious. All the initial reviews were 5 stars and the comments were over the top (“best high end and efficient day and night cream I have used in the past 10 years”, “THANKS to the developer!!”, “I am a professional Esthetician I have never had such quick results with an anti aging product”, “Don’t miss this opportunity to look younger!”). I mean you would think they found a cure for cancer. What’s suspicious all 7 reviewers were from New Jersey (if you look at other products on HSN, the reviews tend to come from all over the US). The New Jersey tie is interesting since Simply Venom is headquartered in Edison, NJ. Coincidence? I don’t think so.
Then fast forward a couple months and 2 additional people reviewed the product (one from Texas and the other from Massachusetts…in other words, nowhere near the company headquarters in New Jersey) and they both gave it one star, and even asked why on earth the other reviews were so glowing (one compared it to Suave body lotion). I smell something fishy with those ridiculous 5 star New Jersey reviews and that alone makes me very skeptical of the company and thus extra skeptical of the Oprah sub.
No thanks Oprah.

Um Nope, thanks

Wasn’t the first go round a big scam?
