Oui Please is a subscription box that brings you the best of France every other month. In every box you can expect a mix of beauty, jewelry, fashion, home, and food items.

Important to know - not all boxes are the same. This is a subscription that sends variations out.

My Subscription Addiction pays for this subscription. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).

The Box: Oui Please

The Cost: $150 per box (ships every other month)

The Products: An assortment of full sized French products in beauty, fashion, jewelry, home and food categories.

Keep Track of Your Subscriptions: Add this box to your Subscription List or Wish List!

Ships to: US

Check out all of my Oui Please reviews and the Oui Please Swap Page!

The box comes with a mini mag – it details all the different products you might have received in your box. (There are a variety of product combinations each subscriber will receive).

Now, onto the items!

Les Interchangeables Paris Swarovski Collection Bracelet - Value Listed $60

This bracelet could double as a hair tie. (A very expensive hair tie!)

It's made from a stretchy ribbon with genuine Swarovski Crystals. I like the grey/blush color, and if you are looking for a minimalist bracelet that doesn't get in your way while you are typing, this is it!

Victoire + Matilda Maxine Ring - Retail Value Listed $55

This ring is brass with 24K gold plating. The back is open so it's adjustable, too. I love delicate gold jewelry, so this piece is perfect for me. It matches my wedding ring/engagement ring well!

And I'm realizing I have a thing for French jewelry - some of my favorite pieces come from Oui Please and Emma + Chloe!

Here are both the ring and bracelet on:

La Cocotte Paris Pochette - Retail Value Listed $45

How adorable is this print? (Subscribers will receive one of several prints.) This pouch measures 10 inches by 6 inches, and the inside is lined with a fabric that matches the zipper hardware:

The outer cotton fabric has a wax coating, so it is extra durable, too. I think this is my new makeup pouch!

Leonor Greyl Mask - Retail Value Listed $65

I've sampled this high-end haircare brand a few times before thanks to subscription boxes, so I was thrilled to see two full sized Leonor Greyl items in the box!

This hair mask is designed for super dry/frizzy hair. I wouldn't say my hair is SUPER dry, but it can always use a little love, so I left this on for 5 minutes after shampooing and my hair definitely felt softer and less frizzy.

Leonor Greyl Shampoo - Retail Value $55

Like the hair mask, this shampoo formula is color-safe and paraben-free. I like the scent, and it worked well in my hair (I rarely notice a difference between shampoos, though).

I didn't realize there were instructions for this shampoo until after I used it, but it turns out you are supposed to shampoo your hair for at least 5 minutes! (If you want to learn the art of shampooing your hair properly, I recommend checking out the instructions in the box!)

Sabe Masson Le Soft Perfume - Retail Value Listed $35

First, I love the packaging of this perfume! And the stick application is great, too. Normally I'm not much of a perfume wearer, but I'm loving this subtly sweet scent.

Sophie M. Violettes - Retail Value Listed $15

These floral hard candies had a fruity flavor to me - and they were pretty addictive! (And I like that the tin is cute enough to keep even after the candies are gone!)

Palmiers - Retail Value Listed $10

This is a such a classic French cookie - a perfect addition to the box!

They are light, flaky, crispy, and not overly sweet.

My husband Eric was the taste tester for these, and he LOVES them!

Verdict: This box has an estimated retail value of $340. (I'm using Oui Please provided retail values for that calculation.) Oui Please guarantees a value of at least $350, so this box falls short by $10, but it is missing the Nailmatic nail polish that was revealed as one of the spoilers all subscribers would receive.

I reached out to Oui Please about this missing item and they responded:

Bonjour Liz,

Thank you for reaching OuiPlease
Some of our boxes are missing Nailmatic Nail polish in their box they can email me at [email protected] and we will send them their products but all of the other have the correct pricing value.

Thank you.

So make sure to email them if you are missing the nail polish!

I signed up with a discount for an annual subscription, so this box only cost me about $76. (It works out to about $9.50 an item). I think that value is amazing, and I love the types of items Oui Please sends. (If you like delicate jewelry like I do, I think this box will be a good fit for you!) And this box feels authentically French. I think it would make a great gift, too.

What do you think of the Oui Please 2.6 box?

I’m a novice in subscription world. I started a sub only a few months ago. A lesson learned – avoid subs that offer big discounts! Oui please is the prime example and Beauty fix May box is the other..

My box was missing the Nailmatic and I emailed twice. Hopefully this one gets through. 🙂 I really love this box!

Patty

I received my nail polish today after contacting Ashley last week.

Patty

I received pretty much the same items as MSA, except I got the Fifth Sense bracelet instead of the ring. This was my 3rd OP box and it seemed a little light in value. No home item either. If you go to the individual websites and check the prices, it comes up about $100 less than what is in the magazine. I did email Ashley about this, but her comment was that the magazine prices come directly from the providers. My nail polish is on the way though. Good experience with CS for me and I liked all the items I received. They are always good quality. And even though the value fell short, I got a deal on my annual sub.

Could anyone please tell me if OP customer service replies to emails?
I got my first OP boxes this week (I splurged and got two), and neither had nail polish, and one didn’t even have an elastic bracelet, let alone any jewelry at all.
I sent emails to [email protected] and [email protected] on Monday. I then sent the emails to [email protected] and [email protected] on Wednesday night.
As I am a new subscriber (who really hoped to never have to contact OP customer service) I don’t know what to expect.
I have heard that others who contacted OP have already received replies. Am I doing anything wrong?
Thanks for any help that is sent my way.

You’re not the only one.. my experiences with their CS are extremely frustrating. I am going to give them till this Friday to reply or fix the problem. If they don’t, I will dispute the change thru my bank.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

I’ve had great experiences with customer service. They make take awhile to reply, but they always have to me and just got an email today that a delivery is on the way. They said they would send me the nail polish that was missing so assuming that’s what’s coming. I’m sure they are overloaded right now due to the boxes being late and missing items, but I’ve found their CS to be one of the best so far.

Reply ButtonReply

Rosemary

Thank you Stephanie…I only ever noticed the negative comments about OP customer service. It is reassuring to hear that not everyone’s experiences have been bad.
Obviously, I am glad that I did get a response…and it was a polite response as well.
I have had OP-envy for quite some time; I hope I receive some of the “good” boxes while I have a subscription!

Josée

Unfortunately, their customer service is very inconsistent! Some people are getting replacement items while I didn’t even receive a tracking number for my box nor reply to any of my emails as of today (I have to reach out to them for the third box in a row!). Needless to say, I’m fairly disappointed and frustrated by this subscription box customer service…

Reply ButtonReply

Jenny

Can’t believe I’m still trying to contact their CS for missing items after a month and 4 attempts. They have so far not responded to any single one of my email. Very frustrating! 🙁

Rosemary

Good Lord! I received a response email this morning (Friday). I am so grateful. Thank you Ashley!!!

Donna

I received my first box today! I am so pleased with the lovely contents. I received the same box as MSA minus the cookies and the nail polish. The interchangeable is so pretty. I will wear it often. I was luck enough to receive the dusty color of which I am loving. Also got the ring which is dainty as well. I was holding my breath hoping not to receive the headband. I’m sure is is beautiful but I just wouldn’t be able to integrate it into my style. Looking forward to the next box. So far…Oui is my favorite sub! Very pleased😘

Reply ButtonReply

Erin

I got the same as Liz (same ring, same bracelet but in black, no nail polish) except I didn’t get the cookies.

I don’t even want the cookies or the nail polish but it’s kind of the principle of the situation that bothers me. Seems like a lot of times businesses bank on the reality that people won’t take the time to complain if they’re missing something small, won’t bother to call their bank if they’re overcharged by a few dollars, won’t cancel in time to not be charged after a free trial, etc….
I wouldn’t be surprised if there’s a word in the business world to describe this practice/strategy.

I’m also kind of irritated because I ordered 4 bracelets from their shop and they haven’t arrived although it’s been weeks.

I still think the box was a great deal 🙂

Rosemary

This was my first time getting Oui Please, and I am so disappointed. No nail polish, no cookies, and no jewelry (not even the elastic bracelet). I now think that they cherry-pick box items for reviewers. I have my fingers crossed that I will have a positive experience with their customer service, but I won’t hold my breath.
So disappointed.

Vanessa

Very well said. I don’t care about the nail polish, cookies, or their lackluster response, so I’m not even going to email them. It’s almost like I feel bad for then though.

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

Liz what email did you use exactly? The website doesn’t let you click on any links and wants to to manually type it in, so I want to make sure I send to the right one. Thanks!

Email [email protected]

Hope that helps!

Taren

I just emailed. 🤞

Taren

Thank you!

ME

I adore this subscription and it’s always such a treat to unbox it. I received a similar box but with a 2nd bracelet.

Reply ButtonReply

Christine

Liz, thank you for reaching out to OP. I will email them about the missing nail polish.

Reply ButtonReply

Pamela

Just wanted to say that I don’t always get a good box but this time I did get the Camille Enrico necklace – I’m posting this in response to a previous poster who said nobody got jewelry. There are some listed in the swaps so some boxes did come with the variations.

Reply ButtonReply

MariaNG

Yes, I agree Pamela, some people do get jewelry. I got the ring as well, in fact the same box as Liz without the cookies.

Reply ButtonReply

Rosemary

I am so envious. Good for you! I got no jewelry at all.

Reply ButtonReply

TK

My box had all of the same items as this box except I had another bracelet instead of the ring. I think it’s a great box

Reply ButtonReply

Vanessa

Wow, big surprise, MSA got a piece of jewelry! One of the “variation” items. Which no one else got. The jewelry does not exist in these boxes. I did not get the nail polish either but I don’t even want it so I’m not going to bother emailing. With one of the previous boxes, I emailed about missing items and they sent me two items that they had leftover from the box before that. Except for the fact that I have one more prepaid box remaining, I am done with this sub.

I would only recommend it to someone who doesn’t care about missing items, because you will never get all of the items you’re supposed to get.

Also I see that MSA got the candy and the biscuits, even though I believe the average person will only get one of the other.

Reply ButtonReply

Kathleen

If you look on the forum, some people have posted pictures of the jewelry they received, some people have received stunning pieces!

Reply ButtonReply

Barbara

I got the Camille Enrico bracelet in my box so yes, people do get the “variations”. Some of my boxes have a big ticket item, sometimes it doesn’t. I’m ok with that since it’s still a great value for $76. I have no complaints about this sub and will renew when my subscription is up.

Reply ButtonReply

Vanessa

Ok now I see today that some people actually do get the jewelry. I had heard from so many people that no one got it. I’ve got over 6 boxes and never gotten a high ticket variation item and that’s how it seems for most people. There seems to be no rhyme or reason to who gets what.

Nora

I received both the candy and the cookies and the LI and the Fifth Sense bracelets. I know it is a roll of the dice with OP, but I was happy this time!

Reply ButtonReply

Maurya Johnston

This box was such a disappointment! Exact same Les Interchangeables as a previous box (& in damaged ‘gift box’ to boot!); no Nailmatic; no 2nd jewelry. Soooo disappointed. Rec’d 6 items: 1) Leonor Greyl Shampoo (for dry, frizzy hair); 2) Leonor Greyl Masque (for dry, frizzy hair); 3) Les Interchangebles bracelet (black/crystal = duplicate of Jan box); 4) La Cocette Pochette (overall Paris print= I like it!); 5) Sabe Masson in “Le Paz Macadam” — ick, ick, ick!!!– recall Cuir Tabac, anyone?? 🙁 ; 6) Sophie M. “Violettes” — geez, forgive me OuiPlease, but your advertising made me think we’d be receiving the 3 tins?

Ah well, c’est la vie…

Thus, I shall hold off to re-up my sub on this box. But I have hopes for it….

Meanwhile, Vive la France!!! Celebrating Macron’s win!!

Reply ButtonReply

Beth

Yes! Go Macron!!!

Reply ButtonReply

Vanessa

I received the same items as you, including the same print on the pouch and I like it too! But yes the box is a horrible disappointment. And my “gift box” was crushed as well! What are the chances of that?
Omg if I never see another Interchangables bracelet it will be too soon. I have 3 or maybe even 4 now. The retail value on those is ridiculous.

Reply ButtonReply

Tarah

Liz, can you confirm which items were guaranteed to be in every box?
I’m new to Oui Please (2.6 is my first box:), and am super confused on what to expect. Thanks:)!

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Sure! All boxes should have included: the pouch, Leonor Greyl Shampoo + Mask, Nailmatic Nail Polish (missing from this box), the bracelet, and the Sophie M Candies.

You can see some of the variant items here: https://www.mysubscriptionaddiction.com/2017/03/oui-please-volume-2-6-box-full-spoilers-30-off-coupon.html

Hope that helps!

Reply ButtonReply

Tarah

SO much! Thank you :):)

Off topic, there’s a Gilt deal live for the bless box subscription, options are 1 mo/ $20, 3 mo/ $55, and 6 mo for $99.

Wasn’t crazy about $37, but $20 isn’t so bad (says my conscience .. 🙂

...

This is one of the nicer variations I’ve seen. My box had an RV of $320. I received a headband instead of a ring, and I did not get the cookies (nor any substitute item). No nail polish either.

I still liked my box very much, but people considering this sub should know what they’re getting into!

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

Looks like we are box twins, lol! I’m pretty disappointed that I didn’t get any jewelry, (the rubber band they call a bracelet is NOT jewelry) I think I’m going to email, like Liz said, because I didn’t get the cookies, nail polish or jewelry so I’d at least like to get what they promised: the nail polish & a piece of jewelry! For the money I paid up front and the 2 month late box, I think it’s only fair to get what was promised! The other items are really nice quality and I love!

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Hi Liz,
Off topic, but Barney’s has come out with a few beauty boxes, and one home box. I’d list all of the products, but it would make this comment too long.

On the Go Essentials $75
Sacred Sanctuary Box $80 (this is the home box)
Out of Office Weekend Escape $145
Self Love $250
Spring Forward $385

Reply ButtonReply

Luna

Hi Liz,
Another off topic…. I just found some beauty boxes that Violet Grey is doing as well. They are:

The Bath Time Beauty Set $74
-Diptyque Baies Travel Candle (2.4oz)
-Susanne Koffmann Witch Hazel Bath (3.4oz)
-Tatcha Indigo Soothing Silk Body Butter (1oz)

The French Pharmacy Set $76.90
-Bioderma Sensibio H20, 3.4 oz
-Embryolisse Lait Crème Concentré, 1 oz.
-Avéne Cold Cream Lip Cream
-Caudalie Beauty Elixir, 1 oz.
-Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk

The Bedside Table Set $177
-By Terry Baume de Rose
-La Mer The Hand Treatment
-Dior Crème Abricot Nail Crème

Reply ButtonReply

Tamara

That Les Interchangeables bracelet retails for $39, NOT $60.

https://theparisbracelet.com/products/flower-bracelet

One might suggest that shipping from France to the U.S. should be added to the RV. But I’ve been able to find LI bracelets in the U.S. for the exact same amount that they retail for on the LI website.

I would find this only mildly annoying if the boxes weren’t almost all coming in under the promised retail value. And then OP doubled down on the value. They’re LYING.

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

Yes. I agree 100%! Since I didn’t get the cookies or nail polish or any actual JEWELRY, my RV is far below promised and expected value. I hope when I email them about it they correct the mistake. Even with the discount, these boxes were still $76 bucks each and 2 months late.

Reply ButtonReply

Stephanie

I was looking at the pouches online and from what I gathered (and figuring out exchange rate), they were like $17-something US not including shipping from France, not close to the listed RV of $40. Maybe I did that all wrong but after reading this, probably not.

Reply ButtonReply

jsp

Plus their own website even lists the LI bracelet value as $40 (under the Mother’s Day a la carte box….and it shows picture of the EXACT variation of bracelet…)

Reply ButtonReply

Lauren

I loved mine! I didn’t bother calculating the value because I’m so happy. I probably should though. I got the variation I wanted in each thing. I’m gluten free though so I couldn’t indulge in the ADORABLE palmieres! 🙁

Reply ButtonReply

Linda

Way too pricey for me, but I would sooo love this box. Maybe I’ll receive it someday as a gift, if I beg enough!

Reply ButtonReply

JSP

My box had a RV of $325…so even if I add in the missing nail polish, it is still under the promised retail value. (Also interesting to note that while the Oui Please magazine that came in the box listed the Les Interchangeable bracelet at a $60 RV, OP lists the EXACT same bracelet as only $40 RV on their website, where it’s listed as part of the Mother’s Day box…in that case, my box has only $305 value.) I have a love/hate relationship with this box. I really enjoy the products in it, but they consistently have customer service problems. I am still waiting for them to replace an expired product that they sent me; NINE weeks ago they promised me they’d send a new one and it still hasn’t been sent, in spite of multiple follow up emails on my part. Grrrrr.

Reply ButtonReply

Mish

Liz, would love to see the ring on your hand. just to see how it sits. looks lovey but is it a bit flat? or can’t really tell.

Reply ButtonReply

Liz Cadman

Just added a picture of it on my hand. Hope that helps! 🙂

Reply ButtonReply

Krista

If MSA didn’t receive the polish, then no one received the polish.

Reply ButtonReply

Kathleen

I think that you always get a good box – this time, with a jewelry variation item and cookies. I do think that they take into consideration that you are a blogger. However, I think that your missing nail polish is further proof that no one received it.

Reply ButtonReply

EC

And they had no intention of alerting subscribers about it, either. Once again it’s left to the customer to track down. This is precisely why I dropped them completely.

Reply ButtonReply

Taren

You are exactly correct. They were hoping with variations, we’d all forget about which items were promised to everyone. I’ve contacted their customer service before about the shipping delay and not only were they not contrite, they were completely unapologetic and I had no idea it was possible to sound so arrogant in an email but they ‘enlightened’ me there as well.
