Our Top 10 May 2017 JustFab and ShoeDazzle Picks!

I've been reviewing ShoeDazzle and JustFab the last few months and excited to start sharing my top picks at the beginning of each month!

On the first of every month, both subscriptions release new styles to their site, along with personalized options to your boutique (for JustFab) and your showroom (for ShoeDazzle). As a VIP subscriber, you have until the 5th of each month to purchase whatever clothing, shoe, or accessories item you'd like. You also have the choice to skip any given month. However, if you don’t pick or skip by the 5th of each month, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

Let's take a look at the items I'm most excited about for April!

JustFab:

Macramé Handkercheif Dress - VIP Price: $39.95 (retail price $56.95)

I love the crispness and coolness of this dress! The fabric is 58% rayon and 42% polyester and also comes in black (sizes XS-3X are fully in stock). In addition to fringe details at the neckline and hem, there's also an open-macramed back detail:

This dress has summer concerts written all over it, but I also think you could dress it up with bold earrings and wedge sandals for nighttime.

Lace Maxi Skirt - VIP Price: $32.95 (retail price $46.95)

When I first saw this maxi skirt on JustFab's site, I thought it would make a great bathing suit cover-up alternative. However, the mesh outer layer and underskirt is 100% polyester so it may not breathe as nicely as a cotton cover-up. Either way, I want to pack this for my summer vacation! I really like how the outer skirt has a unique tonal lace pattern and side slits. I also like how the JustFab model is pairing it with a solid-colored camisole tank. So simple but bold!

Amelie Sneakers: VIP Price: $39.95 + free shipping (retail price $59.95)

I'm a bit obsessed with the idea of these faux suede sneakers! First of all, it's hard to resist the two pastel blush and gray colorways (both fully in stock). I also really like the elastic criss-cross strap across the front. Overall I'm a fan of monochromatic products and they seem like they'd be minimal looking on. Assuming that faux suede is comfortable, they'd make a great pair to wear while traveling this summer.

Butterfly Crochet Cover-up - VIP Price: $29.95 (retail price $42.95)

I am really drawn to the sleeves and fringe details on this cover-up. I like how the sleeves puff and the fringe's exaggeration in length. And to be honest, I would totally wear this, not as a cover-up too. It's 90% nylon and 10% spandex with crocheted butterflies and waist tie. This could be paired with a summer sheath dress or even a tank top and skinny denim. However styled, this "cover-up" is begging to be the focal point of an outfit.

Slouchy Off The Shoulder Tee - VIP Price $12.95 (retail price $19.95)

I am not really a fan of wearing the off-the-shoulder trend that is happening right now. I think the majority of people look awesome in this silhouette, but it's not for me. However, I really like the approach this top takes. The slouchiness makes me feel the off-the-shoulder factor would be a bit more natural and I also like that there is still a sleeve on the bare-shouldered side. This top comes in a neutral Mushroom and Black, sizes XS - XXL.

ShoeDazzle:

Culotte Jumpsuit - VIP Price $42.95 (retail price $60.95)

I did a double-take when I saw this in my ShoeDazzle Showroom because at first, I thought it was a midi-length dress. However, it's a jumpsuit - and a cute one at that! Although it comes in a bright Passionfruit and bold Blue/White print, I like the solid black option best. It has a small front keyhole and beautiful tie back, which looks like it would be bra strap-friendly:

Melania Sandal - VIP Price $29.95 (retail price $44.95)

I love the retro vibe of this flat sandal! The sandal is comprised of an espadrille sole, knotted faux suede at the toes and an adjustable ankle buckle. In addition to this dark mint green colorway, the beauties also come in coral and blue and white stripe (all sizes fully stocked!):

Linen Fit and Flare Dress - VIP Price $39.95 (retail price $56.95)

There are so many linen styles available right now on both ShoeDazzle and JustFab. But in addition to the great striping and colors, I am really drawn to the fit and flare silhouette and quality of this dress. It looks like there's a structured construction to the bodice and all of the striping looks symmetrical on the skirt. I know the VIP price is only $39.95, but it says a lot when a patterned garment is constructed with that amount of attention to detail. This dress is currently available in sizes S-3X (XS is sold out).

Distressed Denim Vest - VIP Price $32.95 (retail price $47.95)

Ah, a sleeveless denim jacket, aka vest! You can also find this style in white 100% cotton denim, but there's something about the blue denim that instantly transports me to the 90's. There is simple distressing on the front below the faux pocket flaps, and I like how the sleeves are left a little frayed. I so badly want to add a collection of pins to the front and/or patches to the back!
