Pop In A Box is a Funko POPs subscription that helps you build out your collection every month! You can sign up to receive 1, 2, 3, 6, 8, or 12 POPs each month.

This is a review of a 6-POP delivery.

My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out the review process post to learn more about how we review boxes.)

The Subscription Box: Pop In A Box

The Price: $9.99 and up + Free Shipping

The Products: Pop In A Box allows you to grow your POP! collection every month with a guaranteed mystery Funko POP! Vinyl that's not in your collection.

Ships to: US, UK, and Canada

This is a no-frills subscription. You'll be getting the amount of POPs of your choice in a plain brown box.

Here's a quick run-down of creating your PIAB account:

The first thing you'll want to do is set up your collection. This is an important step to ensure that you don't receive a duplicate POP or a POP that you may not care about.

piab-1

You can cycle through POPs and selection options for each one. Mark 'Add to my Collection' for POPs you have and avoid duplicates. Give POPs a thumbs down to let PIAB know that you don't want it, and mark it as thumbs up to let them know that you're really interested in that specific POP.

piab-2

There are a TON of POPs to go through. I haven't even gone through all of them, but in the end, you'll have built your own collection! This will help you keep track of what you have, and it will help PIAB know what to send.

OK - Time for this month's POP haul!

Scotty

This POP completes my Star Trek Beyond collection! Plus, I love Simon Pegg's Scotty - it's a perfect match!

Krall has to be my favorite of this group - I'd love to see them do some more unique Star Trek POPs, they seem to all be run of the mill.

Gudetama With Bacon

I've been waiting to finally get this one - how great is this lil' egg yolk.

There are only two Gudetama POPs - but the bacon blanket version is the easy winner.

Connor McDavid

No hockey fan can deny how great this kid is, and will be. Even as a Pens fan, I love watching him turn up ice and just blister through the neutral zone.

The puck is floating like he does on the way down the ice.

Jamie Benn

Continuing the NHL line, I also got Jamie Benn. He's an underrated player, especially with their poor outing this season. Still, a super exciting forward.

One of these days, I'll get Crosby...

Cassidy

I believe this completes my Preacher POP line! Cassidy is my favorite character in the comics, and that echoed in the tv show.

Naturally, he's got a bottle of liquor.

Helena

The twin sestra - Helena! She's my favorite character from Orphan Black, but I must admit, we never made it past the second season!

Again, this one completes my Orphan Black set!

Verdict: I got hooked on POPs via subscription boxes, so it's only natural that I'll love a POP subscription box! This month I completed a few collections, which I always appreciate, so I'm more than happy! Before subscribing to this, make sure you check out the comments in past reviews since other subscribers have had difficulty with this subscription that I haven't experienced.

Do you ONLY get Pops that you have given thumbs up to or do you also get other kind of Pops that you haven’t added to your wishlist?

I believe you can get other POPs that you haven’t added to your list – but they try to prioritize thumbs up’d POPs first.

Hey, I’ve actually seen a third Gudetama POP where he’s laying around being his lazy self. I believe his cute little butt is visible again too! :3
