JustFab has had a monthly VIP club for years now, and I love their styles. So I was thrilled to have the opportunity to try out their brand new styling service, PS by JustFab (PS stands for Personal Stylist)!
It works like many other styling services, such as Stitch Fix, Trunk Club, and Dia & Co. You pay a styling fee and receive five pieces selected for you by your stylist. You only keep what you like and return the rest with free shipping both ways. The styling fee is deducted from any purchases you make, and if you keep everything you get 20% off the total!
My Subscription Addiction paid for this box. (Check out our review process post to learn more about how we review boxes).
The Box: PS by JustFab
The Cost: $20 styling fee, deducted from the cost of items you keep
The Products: Five clothing items selected for you by a stylist
Ships to: U.S. for free (both ways!)
Good to know: This is not an automatic monthly subscription. You can order a box whenever you want!

When I signed up, I took a lengthy quiz to let my stylist know my size and style preferences. A few days later, I received this email alerting me that my stylist had chosen some items for me. I could just click the link and preview my package.
There are some styling services that allow you to preview your package and reject items you don't like before they are sent to you, but this was a first. With PS by JustFab, I could keep the choices my stylist made for me, or if I didn't like something, I could swap it with an item on m yJustFab wishlist! And of course, since I am a JustFab VIP, I had tons of items on my wishlist!
This invoice was included in my package, and the cost to keep each item is listed on the upper right of the page. On the upper left is a note from my stylist, and at the bottom is an adhesive return label.
The reverse side of the invoice has instructions for purchasing and/or returning the items in the package. The main thing I want to draw your attention to is that you have a generous eight days to try everything on. Nice!
Slub Knit Maxi Dress - Cost to Keep $29.95
I have been searching for a basic black tank maxi dress for a year now, and I think I may have finally found it! It is a little too long, but when you're 5'3", you expect that sometimes. Otherwise, it's pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I think the side slits will be really cute when it's the right length.
Sleeveless Embroidered Top - Cost to Keep $22.95
I usually don't like showing off my arms, but this top is so cute! I think I have to keep it! I think the angle of the spaghetti straps actually makes my arms look a little longer, so maybe that's why this top works better than most sleeveless options for me. I love the color and the embroidery detail, too!
Distressed Boyfriend Shorts - Cost to Keep $29.95
I think I love these shorts, too! White denim shorts are another item I've been looking for summer, and these are awesome! I like that they are distressed, but not destroyed. Cute!
Linen Shift Dress - Cost to Keep $39.95
I basically wanted to proceed with trying on this dress because I haven't owned anything linen in ages. This is because linen wrinkles so easily, and this dress is no exception. That alone would probably make it a pass for me, but I think it's overall pretty unflattering on me. The placement of the horizontal stripes is pretty fattening, and the sleeves are too big and a weird length.
Tassel Hem Shift Dress - Cost to Keep $42.95
I like this dress, but I don't love it. I think it would be better without the pockets. I do love the tassels, though.
Verdict: I am really enjoying my subscription to PS by JustFab! A couple of months ago, several readers commented that sales and discounts from JustFab do not apply to items in this service. That is true and could be a very valid reason to not try this service if that is a motivating factor for shopping at JustFab. They have great sales! Frequently! For me, personally, I like the fact that I can try a variety of styles I have been eyeing lately. If I keep everything, the 20% off is generous. But if not, I can always earmark an item I might like to purchase later when it's on sale. Everyone has their own shopping strategies, and this one totally works for me!
What do you think of PS by JustFab? Have you tried them yet?
