Rejuvenating Facial Serum- Chamomile Rose, 0.5 fl. oz. - Value $15.00
This certified organic facial serum is best on oily, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. Some of the facial serum ingredients include jojoba oil, rose hip seed CO2, pomegranate seed, and red raspberry seed oil. This serum left my skin nourished and hydrated.
From Clean Living Collection:
The Chamomile Rose is tailored for oily and sensitive skin. It has rosehip seed CO2 extract, which is a dry, mild oil that won’t feel too heavy on the skin. Rosehip seed oil penetrates deeply to hydrate and heal damaged skin from within. This oil is also the reason for the beautiful light pink hue of the serum (and also gives it a delightful tea-like scent!) We use the CO2 extract, not the “cold pressed” oil. The reason for this is that rosehip oil is extremely fragile. During the cold pressing process, the oil is exposed to air and oxidizes, this degenerates some of the botanical properties of the oil. CO2 extraction takes place in a virtual vacuum, so no oxidation takes place and the botanical properties are left rich in the product.
Flowers & Mud Mask, 1 oz. - Value $9.00
I applied the flowers and mud mask and left it on to dry for about 7 minutes. The mask tightened while I was wearing it. Afterward, my skin appeared smooth and hydrated. My friend tried it, too, and her skin also felt more plump, youthful, and hydrated.
Whipped Hibiscus Rose Tightening Moisturizer, 1 oz. - Value $16.95
This anti-aging cream is thick and creamy and has coconut oil, rose petals, hibiscus flowers, and vitamin E oil. I haven’t noticed any tightening or firming of my skin, but time will tell.
From The Chirping Cat Apothecary:
This anti-aging cream is a perfect addition to your daily skin care routine!
Coconut oil infused with hibiscus and rose petals creates the perfect whipped pink moisturizer - a staple for every day.
Hibiscus, known as "plant Botox" tightens and firms your skin and improves facial texture. You will also notice it's healing properties on your skin as time goes on.
There is an informational card from The Chirping Cat Apothecary with their email and website. On the back, there's a code for 15% off your order.
Face + Body Tonic -Lavender Lemongrass, 2 oz. - Value $6.48
This refreshing tonic smells divine thanks to hints of citrus and lavender. I spritzed the tonic on my face and body—what a wonderful, soothing experience. This can be a body and face spray, or to get squeaky clean pores! Spritz your face, then use a reusable cotton pad to remove any excess dirt or cleanser from your skin.
Verdict: My May Satva Box has a value of $47.43, which I think is an incredible deal. This small pink box delivers amazing products that are all-natural and organic. All the products were a win for me—the tonic is so refreshing and the facial products kept my skin hydrated. Each month their boxes go above the $15.00 monthly price.
