ShoeDazzle is a monthly shoe, clothing, and accessories subscription service. You can shop their merchandise like normal retail, but they have a VIP subscription that gives you better prices – almost everything is only $39.95 (or less) for VIPs. When you sign up for a membership, you complete a style profile. On the 1st of every month, they release new styles and you can pick any item you want - either from your personal 'Showroom' or across the site. You can also skip the month. However, if you don’t pick or skip, you get charged $39.95 store credit to spend any time.

This model is similar to how JustFabFabletics and AdoreMe work.

This month, I received an invoice/packing slip noting the items I ordered.

And on the back, there's helpful information about their return and exchange policy and process.

I also received a sample of L'Oréal's new Hydra Genius moisturizer.

Melania Sandal in Mineral Green - VIP Price $29.95 (retail price $44.95, currently on sale for VIP members for $20.97)

I immediately fell in love with these sandals when I was picking my favorites for May! In person, they are a bit wider than they look on the ShoeDazzle's website, but they fit true to size. I chose mineral green but they also carry this sandal in coral (both in a faux suede) and a blue and white striped canvas that also caught my eye.

The dark minty shade of green is gorgeous and perfect for summer. And the knotted top, combined with matching ankle strap and espadrille sole give this sandal and vintage vibe that is perfect for daytime!

I paired the sandals with a casual white dress from JustFab (review coming soon!) and neutral accessories. I love that they offer a pop of color to the typical neutral outfits I wear. They're comfortable to walk around in and I have already identified them as a summer staple in my wardrobe. I can't believe these are on sale right now for $20 and change!

Culotte Jumpsuit in Black - VIP Price $42.95 (retail price $60.95, currently on sale for VIP members for $30.07)

I decided to purchase a second item this month because I equally fell in love with this black culotte-style jumpsuit. It is 100% rayon and also available in coral and a blue-multi shibori-esque print. I immediately grabbed a black jumpsuit in my normal size because I thought it would be a great option for a couple summer parties coming up. I decided to pair this piece with previous ShoeDazzle and JustFab accessories: the black wedges from March's ShoeDazzle pick and the textile clutch from March's JustFab pick.

Despite the waist fitting like a glove, the bodice's fit was too large. I really like the triangle inset look of the front, along with the tiny keyhole - both add some style edge and structurally, it should fit well. The straps are also adjustable which is awesome.

However, it fits really large at the sides and back. I tied the back a few different ways to see if tightening it would help, but as you can see, there's a lot of gaping happening in the back cutout. I thought for sure my bra would be nicely concealed, but that also is not the case. Perhaps my torso is just too short for this one? Since the waist fits perfect, sizing down will undoubtedly cause the lower half to be too small. Instead, I'm going to try to tailor it to see if that will help the top half.

The pant is wide-legged and hits at a midi-length on me. I think it's a flattering length, especially when worn with heels.

Verdict: ShoeDazzle has easily become one of my favorite subscription boxes to receive each month. I am able to pick, literally, whatever I want and as long as my total exceeds $39.95, shipping is free! The total retail value this month is $105.90, but I paid a VIP price of $72.90 for both (with free shipping). And with the current VIP sale going on right now, I would have paid $51.04. That's incredible knowing how much I love the sandals. I'm definitely disappointed about the jumpsuit's ill-fit, but am going to try to fix the issue or see about returning it.

Those sandals look really cute! I like the jumpsuit, too. It seems like a couple of horizontal seams would fix it, like darts, and not even show since it’s black.

I believe I had this sub around 2012, but whenever you skipped a month, you got a credit and still got charged for the value of 39.99, which built up quickly over time to several pairs of shoes if you didn’t get a handle on it. It was also very hard to cancel, especially without incurring even more credits :0 I believe when I cancelled I still had a couple of credits because it was so hard to break free. I hope it’s improved since then. I would die for a great shoe sub but after that experience, it’s been hard for me to look again 🙁

I didn’t think i liked those sandals at first but when I saw the picture with u in them with the white dress I see what u saw how cute they are! I live that color too! I’m like u into a lot of solid colors like black white brown etc and that’s the perfect amount of color to me. I really like your style I think it goes while with your petite frame. Thanks for these reviews I also am a VIP and like to see someone else picks instead of reading lots of reviews. Thanks!!
